Ummm as I stated the Omnia LITE does not have the software yet.

I am looking for someone who is willing to create a .CAB of the Tv out software from Omnia II.

As you can see I have an Omnia LITE which still has a WM 6.5 OS but without the Tv out software I am assuming since they are still both WM6.5 the Tv out software should still work properly.

I also created and asked in other forums but it seems no one is kind enough to post one.

Is there someone here who can help me?

I want to keep this thread alive until someone makes a .cab of the Omnia II Tv Out software.

I mean it took less than 24 hours for someone with the ROM(Omnia LITE) i donated to create Applications for the OMnia 1. SO please anyone please create a .cab from the Omnia II please!!!!

Do you have an Omnia 2 or an Omnia Lite?

You mention Omnia 2 i your first post then go on to say Omnia Lite in another, they are both different devices and the Omnia 2 has TV out as standard, you just need the correct cable.

I have an Omnia LITE. Sorry for the Misunderstanding on the FIrst post.

I know they are both different but both still have WM 6.5. Now the thing is I know that this phone is capable of Tv out it just seems that Samsung decided to remove the App to keep the price down.

Now I already got the Tv out software from i900 or Omnia 1. It seems to work because once i installed the cab it appears as an icon and can be clicked BUT i still cannot check if it is really working since I am still looking for a Tv out cable with a Micro USB on the other end. The Ones USed in Samsung Jet and Samsung Omnia II.

I want to have the .cab for Omnia II since the software it has is for the MicroUSB interface that most WM6.5 Phones have and not the proprietary USB that Samsung has with its Omnia 1. I do not know if the software from Omnia 1 which was made for the proprietary USB interface of samsung will identify my MicroUSB port with the Tv out cable one. That is why I want to have a REAL tv out software that came from a REAL WM 6.5 phone which apparently Omnia II is.

FYI, TV out on Omnia II does not use MicroUSB for Tv out. It uses the 3.5mm jack for TV out. This is confirmed as I have tried it before with the N95 TV out cable. If the phone can't detect what is plugged into the 3.5mm jack, a menu will pop out:-

1.Headphones

2. Headset

3. TV Out

So that means......I need the one used by the Touch Pro 2's since it uses the MicroUSB interface and not the 3.5mm one.
