I broke down and tried this new ROM over my favorite V55. I think this thing is definately on the right track. I'm playing around with the JMLPanex offsets and this makes a huge difference. My only concern with the earlier versions was the inability to move panels around. I think that is in the past, but I'm still not sure. I've got my clock in the middle with Speeddial above it and AppLauncher below it. When I scroll to Speeddial the time appears below the contacts as it should. When I scroll to Applauncher the time dissapears above the applications. If I click on an app in the top line, it never opens the app, but rather goes to the clock panel. It's almost like the clock panel is over the top row of apps, but invisable (if that makes any sense). Help.

This is a great ROM guys. I can only imagine how much effort has gone into it. Thanks.

anyone else having a hard time adding programs to the 1st row of apps? i can add to the 2nd row, but not the 1st row??

Great ROM. I have only one question. The background for clock has turned grey. I read a few pages back, that this happens because of Myphone restoring some PNG files. Does anyone have a copy of this file(s). I did not back mine up before I restored with Myphone.

SPB backup doens't restore my email account settings.

It restores the contact only.

Has anyone had this issue with SPB backup?

Thanks, I have been swamped with work, but I have been keeping a close eye on things. Great work on the ROM. I am tinkering with the new 6.5.1 taskbar. Hopefully, I will have something to test in a few days.

Is there any way to get rid of the top row(5) of Appa in the applauncher? There difficult to hit properly and they block out 1/2 of whatever panel is above them. Five across with another five on the next page is plenty for me. Thanks.

Looks great - i used to be a m2d kinda guy and now thats making me want to try spb for a bit. if its as quick and snappy as your version 8 or some of your older roms count me in :D

Evidence, Can you help? Speed dial not working properly. When you tap on the picture it calls a different person. There looks like there was a fix for this from the below post but i do not know where to install. Thank you for your help. Love the rom!

This should help you out on the offset adjustment on any JLMPanex panels.

Start Menu/JLMPanex/Offset and pick the panel you want to adjust. Pick screen resolution 240X400. On mine, the Speeddials panel was at 66, I adjusted to 60. AppLauncher was at 88, adjusted to 80. Currently I am playing with the All settings. Your phones settings may be different.

i tried this & it didn't work for me. couldn't adjust the icons properly, couldn't add programs to 1st row in app launcher, gave up on speed dials & app launcher, looked good, but.......::::::D

Sounds like the focus isn't big enough, the only problem is that if you make it bigger, it will throw off the entire theme. You might be able to make it bigger and adjust the bronzelist to compensate, although it will take alot of time me thinks!

yes, great I have done a few changes to my own MS 3.5 using your v8 rom, but mem. is kind of low. Thank you for your reply and let me know if you guys have any questions on ms 3.5

im not having those problems at all but ill look in to it. try moviing the offset up just a hair

I've tried moving the offset around quite a bit already. When I tap an app icon the square is perfectly centered on the icon. It's just if I tap in the top half of that square it pops up to the panel above. This is only true with the top row of apps. The bottom row and the "launch/edit" box work flawlessly. I also tried moving the applauncher to different places on the screen with the same results. If I put it at the top it is partially covered by the taskbar.
