mskip updated to 3.5.1

Looks like something to try. However, I see that step #2 in the MSkip upgrade process is "2. Uninstall Spb Mobile Shell and soft reset your device". How do I uninstall MS when it is cooked into this ROM? Or am I better off waiting for a newer ROM that includes the newer MSkip?

has anyone had this problem...im using PIM Backup and i just flashed to MS3.5 and when i go to restore with the PIM Backup it says "PBM File Error: Invalid messages file"...any ideas?

SPB MS3 Rom is just about perfect. The only issue I see is the missing system icons. 3.5.1 with that, and I think I'm finally sitting tight on what I've got. (Yeah, right. I'm addicted)

I like MS3.5 a lot. The menus are not the coolest but I like the way the pages change.

But I have flashed to it 2 different times and can't get GPS to work.

Does anyone else have this problem.

I'm pretty happy with 23085. It's fast, doesnt have any bugs that make me need to re-flash. Plus it would be a pain in the ass to reset all the launch apps/icons.

Is there a way to backup the titanium launcher and speed dial options? Im not sure where these files are located. I do a PIM backup before every flash, could i just add the file locations for these, and if-so; How?

Damn, I'm all wound up for this 3.5.1 MS3 ROM!

Since I'm on here, howzabout some feature requests? Could you...

1) Make my Omnia's screen 3.7-4" with 800x480 resolution?

2) Make my Omnia's processor a Snapdragon @ 1GHz?

3) Add 0.5 to WM 6.5?

4) Add a 3.5mm audio port?

5) Increase the battery life to 1,000,000 hours?

These shouldn't be too hard to implement, right?...Guys?...Hello?

I am a devoted MS3 user with mSkip mods and I have yet to find a better combo. thanks for baking MS3.5 into a Rom with mSkips widgies. Great job! Super fast compared to adding them separately. Couple needs with this rom.

1. a Today Screen soft button programmed to return to SPB Shell versus Contacts. Otherwise you have to go to program list and scroll to SPB home to return after exiting the shell.

2. Auto Email/SMS name lookup. i think there is a reg edit for this.

I am still blown away by what the Omnia can become after what you get from Verizon with beta roms.

I a m still being haunted by the BT notifier showing as a ? as if I missed a text, mail etc. Not to mention every time I end a call I get the "BT Status has Changed" or the "BT is Now Activated" notification at the bottom of phone screen and the only option is to Hide it.

Does anybody have a fix for this? Or is it just me? It's not a problem but very annoying....

Go to CHome editor and change the SKURL2 for cclock to the following:

\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Spb Home.lnk

Been doing this ever since MS 3 come out. Works for me. I also hard wire the main menu hold button in titanium to the spb holme [show today] option.

Excellent work! This is the best ROM with a customized SPB shell! Has not froze on me once, used the shell extension to tweak the carousel panels, added a few apps and I was done. The SPB shell performs way better with Titanium removed.

using the ms3.5 right night and i love the rom...i have 2 little things i was wondering could happen....probably cant but just wishful thinking i guess...

1. have the sms 3d viewer open up vito sms....

2.have a button(like the end key) send you back to the the clock page....like there are 7 pages and on the 4th page is the clock,weather, sms, etc... so its kinda like the main home page...so it would be cool if you were on page 3 or 2 looking at stuff and you could hit the end key and it will bring you to the "home" page....

just some thoughts thanks.
