I want to mod the qa_status.dat in the mobile shell and it won't let me overwrite the current file. It says access denied because its baked into the rom. Nils Pro Blue Status Icons look great on the Carbon background. How can I get access to do this?

I haven't read through the entire thread. But has anyone had issues with the MS3.5 version and call / sms info on the lock screens? I've tried the WinMo lock screen, Pocketshield, and S2U2. It seems when I have a missed call, text, or email, the notifications do not appear on the lock screen like they would with other roms. Anyone else having this issue?

You need to use Total Commander, Resco File Explorer or a similar app to copy the file. The standard file explorer won't overwrite files built into the ROM.

I am a devoted MS3 user with mSkip mods and I have yet to find a better combo. thanks for baking MS3.5 into a Rom with mSkips widgies. Great job! Super fast compared to adding them separately. Couple needs with this rom.

1. a Today Screen soft button programmed to return to SPB Shell versus Contacts. Otherwise you have to go to program list and scroll to SPB home to return after exiting the shell.

2. Auto Email/SMS name lookup. i think there is a reg edit for this.

I am still blown away by what the Omnia can become after what you get from Verizon with beta roms.

for question 2..... using the ms3.5 rom it auto-looks up. Unless i did something without realizing it. lol. I just tested it on mms, sms, and email and it pulls the person's name up as i start typing it.

I a m still being haunted by the BT notifier showing as a ? as if I missed a text, mail etc. Not to mention every time I end a call I get the "BT Status has Changed" or the "BT is Now Activated" notification at the bottom of phone screen and the only option is to Hide it.

Does anybody have a fix for this? Or is it just me? It's not a problem but very annoying....

Is there a way to backup titanium panels before flashing? I'd like to backup the launcher and speed dial panels so i dont have to spend the time setting the exe and icons. Is this just a cpr or something?

i have a question/problem, i am a heavy text-er and sometime when i try to reply to a message it closes tmail.exe and brings me back to the titanium home screen. does anyone else have that problem? is it something i am doing or a rom quirk?

Reason I am asking is two-fold: (1) I am considering trying my own ROM, and would like to include those nice shiny icons... and (2) If I switch to a different theme, sometimes those icons default back to the original 6.5.1 icons. Isn't there a way I can use a different theme yet still retain or reinstall those nice bar icons?

Like always bro thanks for the update ur the best my friend! U and master have done so much and all the other chefs for this community of dedicated followers is for dudes like u guys that takes pride of having a unique theme or work from u guys that shows what a lil dedication n work can make out of thugged out OMNIA I910 I cant wait to see what u guys would be able to do with omnia II no doubt :)

yeah I forgot that again! I havent heard from MG for a few days. I have MS3.5.1 ready I know he was working on the system icons not showing up right Ill wait until I hear from him.
