Hey i've been rockin bgill straight for a while now. But with his departure and seeing as this rom looks off the hook! i think im gonna have to test it out. Hope the new release drops soon. been aching for some flash action! tis addicting.

WOW this rom is very nice. I just made the switch from BGILL's 2.6 rom. I havent run into any problems yet. Everything is running super smooth. Very nice work Thank you. Of course as soon as I flashed to v2 there was a update the next day. Anything note worthy features on the new build that would sway my mind to reflash to v3 other then the new panels. I just got done setting all my email and software settings back up.

Evidence...I have used Bgill's ROMs ever since Adryn retired from cooking (still on my fav: 2.5.1), and now that Bgill has in turn retired, I am looking for a new flash 'pusher' for a fix. Your ROM seems the closest I have seen to having the newest version of WM 6.5 and as many of the tweaks/look as Bgill's. The one thing I ask is if there is a version without the Titanium theme by NickichZ? I like having a basic Titanium theme to start off with so I can utilize the panels I have grown to depend on, or new develpopments I want to try/use (more specifically JML panels). No problem if you don't have/want to, just curious!! Thanks for the work you do, it is a pretty slick looking ROM!!!

* if anyone knows if JML panels (Today, or constable's speed-dial and (soon) app launcher) work with NickichZ's theme, I would appreciate a yes or no!

Thanks anyone for any reply on this!!

Been testing v3 all morning without a hitch...only thing I notice is my cox.net email account page takes a long time to load from the home screen but I can surly live with this! Everything is running very slick and the overall look is very refreshing and user friendly, texting is working great, phone dialer smooth running...!

Syrguy,

JMLToday works with this layout, as far as Constable's, I have not tried, but they should. All panels have worked with this theme, but have the original titanium look to them. Hope this helps!

Cool....do you use JML Today? If so, could I see a screenshot to see what it looks like? If they look OK with this Titanium theme, I may flash to it!

P.S. Thanks for the reply, any info is of help !! :)

So, evidence, you are using the holy grail of kitchens now... hmmmm, a follower of bgill55 nation I see... Looks like I need to flash and test drive... Filling in for him in his absence??

I don't use JML today, but CManila uses JMPanex. All JML will run on this ROM with a little tweaking to the cpr's

Yeah, I love all the customizations that are possible with JMLToday. Here is the screen shot of it installed with default skin. (I have not set it up to my liking yet, just checking to see if it worked.) However, when it is in the upmost postition it will look slightly cut off, but that is easily fixed with a little cpr editing.

Very interesting, thanks a lot. I am not worried about the clipping on top because that is where I keep it, and the clock/weather panel that comes with this theme won't be used with it, so I'll just disable that one, enable JMLToday, and be good to go!!

I may be flashing tonight afterall!!! Thanks

I'm sorry, but after reading what I typed I realized I did not make it clear. What I meant was when JMLToday is above all other panels (Disabling weather and Cclock) there is a little clipping and it may be different with different JMLToday skins. I will do a little testing and get it setup when I get home in a little while.

On the other note, definitely flash, give in to the habit! This ROM is excellent, looks good, has tons of goodies and still plenty of space to install a bunch of other things!

Does anyone know how to edit the weather radar screen to get the radar for a specific area. I know you used to be able to change settings for your area. Anyone got an idea??

Ok, just tested with the Dual analog clock theme and you will get some major clipping on the top of the clocks. Probably won't take a whole lot of work to edit the CPR though.

QUOTE(dbu @ Oct 15 2009, 20:51) post_snapback.gifThis is one of the best ROMs I have ever flashed. Second only to BWolfs older MS3 ROM. I do have one question though, and keep in mind I know nothing about this stuff other than how to flash and install apps. Is there a way to change the look of the lockscreen? I quite like the old version where the slider is on top, it is a more natural place to swipe. I also liked the look of the old slider more as well. It's not a deal breaker or anything, but you know how picky we flashaholics are.

is there anyway to get opera or palringo to work on the home screen.. or ability to change the buttons on the bottom from "contacts and set" on the home screen

Get Gpsradarweather.cab from Liorytes base rom thread (post #2). Also get from there Gpsradarweather/Titanium Weather Merge.cab. Install in order and reset. The Gpsradar.cab replaces the titanium radar and uses GPS to get your radar location. (Make sure to go into settings and change to Com 8, as it is set to com 4 when you install it.)

This would be great to get "cooked" in if possible. I've been using this for awhile now on a variety of roms and have had no trouble.
