Guest maczen Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Well, now it works on my phone too. :) Problem was in absence of jinboxres.dll.419.mui Also I removed coredll MUIs from cab - I think there's no need in them. For me it still doesn't overwrite the orginal inbox.

I got this working on my i910 with a couple small modifications. Some menus were in Italian(or French?) so I'm getting them straightened out now. Very nice, Thank you so much! Once I get it straightened out this will def. be going into my ROM.

I'm also on an i910, does your's open to the Samsung inbox via Titanium?
Guest necosino Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Care to share? I'm also on an i910, does your's open to the Samsung inbox via Titanium? Not yet. For that all you have to do is change the default open command from :POutlook -mail.exe (or w/e) to jinbox.exe so that's not really my priorty atm.. I can't figure out the menus though...
Guest eufouria Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 (edited) For anyone else looking to change the default inbox to jinbox: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSINBOX and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSPOUTLOOK String 1 in both needs to be changed to jinbox.exe. Simple! Also tried "\Windows\jinbox.exe" with no luck. In both cases jinbox opens on startup but the titanium shorcuts still lead to poutlook. Even stranger; the icon for messaging has changed to that of jinbox, but still leads to msinbox. Edited November 8, 2009 by eufouria

Guest henrylife Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 I can't open messages any messages on inbox wm6.5 load doesn't stop:S .Help thank you !
Guest azazellor Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) If you want to change default SMS app to jinbox you must edit registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSINBOX "1"="jinbox.exe" (change tmail.exe to jinbox.exe) As for Titanium - I think tmail.exe is hardcoded in it. I don't have wm 6.5 to check it out. Edited November 9, 2009 by azazellor

Guest sheldon.mathews Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Rename tcalender.exe to calander.exe, then replace the windows version of calender with the new calender using rescu explorer No go i was able to do it however didnt get the error message as well i use Total Commander to do that and sorry its not M2D is just windows Default
Guest bpivk Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 (edited) Why do you guys complicate things? You don't have to rename anything. Use ssmaho and map any link in your m2d to any program you want. And you can do all that with just a few clicks. You can get the detailed instructions on the xda page here. Edit: I forgot to add that this works only in m2d. You'll have to use the other options for titanium. Edited November 11, 2009 by bpivk
