Hey guys, I need your help.

I come from Germany and I have a Omnia II from Singapore. My settings for the Omnia are the same as in Outlook.

GPRS Connection established, e-mails are received, but I can not send. But attitudes are correct!

Is there a difference between Singapore and Germany in the e-mail sent over GPRS? Another Registy entry? Or has my OMNIA an error?

Sorry for the bad english - online translator

To Moderators and Community Members: sorry for the german, but it seems that it will help to identify and eventually solve the problem quicker.

To _joker_: Hallo! Bitte, erklär mir nochmal dein problem aber auf deutsch und wir werden schauen ob dein handy defekt ist oder deine einstellungen nicht korrect sind. Bis dann

so in german and english now...!

I had the same problem with my phone but only using the WIFI, i think it is soething within the firmware, but normaly it was possible after rebooting the phone. by the way, emailing doesnt work as fluently as sending SMS, i always have to wait half a minute, one minute even if the mail is only some sentences. My Phone is from Singapur too, and as you see, im in germany too!

I'm pretty sure that's a AP (Access Point) wich you have not configured yet.

Look for that in your operator's page, and configure in your phone at:

- WM6.5

Sart menu > Configuration (Windows) > Connections > Connections > Add new connection by modem, select GPRS line as modem and then enter the AP name in th Next dialog. Finish.

- WM6.1

Start menu > Configurations > System tab, then select Connections > Add new connection by modem, select GPRS line as modem and then enter the AP name in th Next dialog. Finish.

PS: If you have updated your firmware with scany's WM6.5 version, The "My Internet" connection group in "Connections" window has been locked, you can create another group and then create your connection as I say above.

I hope that is helpful to you.

Thanks for your help. The AP has been properly configured via a text message. The settings are correct. I can also receive e-mails, but not send. I hope this mistake will be corrected with an official update. For a cooked ROM, I have no courage.

Greetings _Joker_

PS: MS Outlook with the same settings works fine

Problem solved. The error is in the software of WM 6.1.

FlexMail 4 works well with the same settings as in tmail.exe (WM6.1)

Thanks for the help!
