You need to delete the redirect under HKLM-ControlPanel-Phone in order to show it in the settings. I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about.

I tested them out before release :D
Guest aace Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Tethering and WiFi work perfectly. I tested them out before release :D noob question - tethering thru wifi do i need to use WMWifiRouter with your rom? i found this from another thread... i snipped 1 to 6 - item covered using ICS and UBS cable - no problem here! "Tethering on the I910 Verizon Omnia 1. - snip- 6. 7. Download/Install the attached "WMWifiRouter91.CAB" file. 8. Restart your phone. 9. Turn on Wifi. 10. Run WMWifiRouter from the Programs Menu. 11. Select "Connect" 12. If done correctly the program should display "Connected to WMWifiRouter Ready". 13. From your computer search for the "WMWifiRouter" wireless connection. 14. Now have fun surfing the web from anywhere." sorry if OT and thanks
Guest necosino Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Yes, you need to use WMWifiRouter in order to share via wifi.
Guest necosino Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 PhotoViewer beta period has expired. So I will probably switch over to the HTC Album in the next build. :D
Guest aace Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 PhotoViewer beta period has expired. So I will probably switch over to the HTC Album in the next build. :D downloaded HTC Album and will give it a try... noob question: how do i uninstall Resco PhotoViewer or other apps cooked in rom (is it as simple as just delete from program file directory?)? why not just offer it as apps such as this option to install by user in cab form and to save on resources? thanks.

Because that's what Base ROMs are for :D I want to make a ROM that is light enough that you can add stuff to, but already has the nice, finger-friendly apps in so that you don't need to. You can't really "uninstall" PhotoViewer easily. You could just delete the files and then search the registry for "Resco" and delete any keys that come up, but that could cause other things to not work. It's best just to leave it for now until I release my new version.

Guest The Entity Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Nevermind... most of the problems i had were caused by my stupidity. Only thing i noticed was that the speaker key during a call is still greyed out. I'm guessing the Omnia lite dialer hasn't been fixed 100% for the i910..... **nevermind - found the fix.** Edited November 3, 2009 by The Entity

Guest Grassguy Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 I wish we could get media album to see video files like it did outta the box. The only way to see them now is with file explorer.
Guest aace Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 have you looked into 23085? possible new release (on the lean side not totally base mod) soon?
Guest ofos0926 Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 I am new to the whole flashing of Roms. Could you help by giving me steps to do my FIRST EVER FLASHING OF my Omnia i910 :D
Guest JohnnyKilowatt Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Hi Neco, I love the screen grabs, and attempted to flash my i910, but umdl gave me a bin file error? Any ideas?
Guest necosino Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Redownload? lol.. Sorry for not getting 23085 out last night. Ended up being pulled to a yankees party and didn't get home until about 2AM, and had to get up for work at 6:30, lol.. I have it cooked and on my phone, but just didn't get to upload it :D
Guest JohnnyKilowatt Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) Hi Neco, Thanks for the response. It looks like 4shared is not properly pushing the file :\ I'll keep trying. Good work though, I really like it. You are right, this is the way it should have been :D. UPDATE: I managed to finally get it using FireFox, and all I can say is WOW. This is the best ROM I have used. GREAT JOB!!!!!! Edited November 5, 2009 by JohnnyKilowatt
