Guest paulsmith
Hi, I have a hero and as I dont use windows at all - How can I disable or remove the HTC Sync program? I plug my hero into a ubuntu linux machine and sometimes it doesn't recognise it ( ask to mount the memory card and/or adb shell from SDK tools not working). I had a quick look in the list of applications in settings - but couldn't see it - although that could just be me being stupid/blind. Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance. Guest silfer
what do you mean that it doesnt always recognise the phone? adb will only recognise it if you have enabled usb debugging. Im using ubuntu right now and it always sees it when i mount the SD card. Did you mean remove HTC sync program from your phone? I dont think you can but it is quite annoying since everytime you plug it in,it prompts you for it. hope this helps
