Guest n4v1n Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Everytime i start touch player it searches for songs. If I add a new song on the device I have to let it search through my entire sd card and add all my songs again for it to add just one song to my library. any way around this? Touch Player will prompt you to search every time it detected new song/tones/movies/clips in your phone (Device/My Storage/Storage Card) but you can always click on cancel on the right hand side; i always allow it to search and add new items so next time it will not prompt me again.

Thanks but just to add one song to my library it seems like a long process. especially If I'm showing someone the phone for the first time and they see the loading bars, really ruins my chance to mesmerize ppl with the phone lol.

Make it a habit on how you add songs to your phone at 1 go, so Touch Player will not prompt you to update your library at every song you add into your phone. Then you can show off your phone successfully. I dont download my music source from elsewhere, all my music tracks are rip from CD into AAC format, 1 album at a time. So my Touch Player doesnt prompt me to update library at all. Edited October 20, 2009 by sys_error
Guest nikker Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 To solve this problem, you can use Resco Explorer to delete the file 'PlayerAutoUpdate' exists in the path \windows\startup\.
Guest Shadowy Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 To add just a few songs without updating the entire library, navigate to their location and tap to play them briefly.
