Guest ray1234 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Hi, anyone know of an audio routing program that will work in i8000? I've tried AudioRoute, AudioSwitch, TROCA2 etc. and none of it works on the i8000. I just want to be able to Skype via the earpiece rather than on speakphone where everyone can hear. I don't have this problem with i900 as the good thing about i900 is the speaker and earpiece is the same location, I just need to turn down the volume and I can skype like on a normal phone call.
Guest ray1234 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 nobody has any answer? I can only Skype with earphone or bluetooth then........
Guest benji791 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 (edited) hello, maybe a piece of answer here ! http://www.modaco.com/content-page/290266/...oblems/page/60/ Edited October 29, 2009 by benji791
Guest ray1234 Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 ok, I'm answering my own questions.... I found the solution, and no need for any software! Just dial *#0002*28346#, you'll enter the engineering mode. Choose in menu to SetForce audio path to "Voice Receiver", thereafter all speaker sounds goes to the earpiece. When you're done, go back to the menu and release the force audio mode and all sounds go back to speakers. Working wonderfully for Skype! No longer a need for me to put on the headphone whenever I Skype with the i8000! I can just talk like in a normal phone call!
Guest bacchu Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 thanks for this ... but .. we have to do it everytime we use skype for calling ;)

Guest sarmad Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 it will be better if someone makes a CAB file to enable and disable redirecting sound to earpiece
Guest Johnline Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Have I missed something? Where do you go to "SetForce" cannot see it anywhere in the engineering mode, all I see is dB levels for every option? it will be better if someone makes a CAB file to enable and disable redirecting sound to earpiece
Guest ray1234 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 You pressed the left soft button named 'Gain', try the right soft button 'Menu', you'll see the 'SetForce audio path' there. Have I missed something? Where do you go to "SetForce" cannot see it anywhere in the engineering mode, all I see is dB levels for every option?
Guest htchd286 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Hi all, I found this software www.earpiece-routing.com It's supposed to work on Samsung Omnia II and can be attached to skype to route audio automatically during call. I tried it in my htc hd2 and works great! Cheers
