Does anyone have this problem of their Omnia2 (6.5) not going to sleep?

I flashed my O2 using sorg's I8000NXXIIB ROM. Works like a charm.

But strangely, my device's display won't turn off without using the hardware lock key.

I did set the timeout under performance in Settings but the display just dims and refuse to power off.

Any comments?

It happened to me too on IJ3 BUT nobody else reported it too... no idea really, got back to normal after flashing to IJ6.

I think maybe you need to flash again (any ROM I guess)

Do a hard reset and check the lock screen. Also do not restore registry items from previous firmware.

Pls let us know.

I had done a hard rest and did not do any registry restoration but still my O2 refuse to sleep.

I wonder if this is a ROM based issue. BTW I followed sorg's method of flashing only the CSC and PDA

while leaving my phone and eboot untouched.

I don't think it's ROM based problem becouse just you and me seems to have had this problem.

If you want to really make sure, I suggest you try to flash again to same ROM.

If not, just flash to IJ6 or wait for new ROM

Have done just that (reflashing) before i post. Its not a big problem for me as i lock my O2 using the lock key but i foresee a reduced battery life problem.

This happened if you did not flash the boot part .

Flash all the rom with the boot part too and then omnia is going to sleep normally!

I'm having the opposite problem. My phone goes to sleep after a minute or so and I can't seem to disable this. I want it to go to sleep after maybe 30 minutes. Can anyone help me? Only happens when on battery.
