Hello Andriod

Hi Guys,

Managed to get Hello Andriod up on my phone tonight, thanks to the posts on device ID's today.

I really like the idea of being able to read the source to enable me to solve my own problems, see my thread on SMS message centre issues I had. I would not have gone down that route of investigation without the source.

I am currently working in windows but I hear that running linux allows more control. Do any of you use a distribution running within a virtual machine like vmware and have adb usb acess to the phone?

I use VMware with Ubuntu Intrepid (i'll update to Karmic tomorrow!) and do all my android stuff in the VM.
