Guest vgrade Posted October 28, 2009 Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 (edited) Hi Guys, Managed to get Hello Andriod up on my phone tonight, thanks to the posts on device ID's today. I really like the idea of being able to read the source to enable me to solve my own problems, see my thread on SMS message centre issues I had. I would not have gone down that route of investigation without the source. I am currently working in windows but I hear that running linux allows more control. Do any of you use a distribution running within a virtual machine like vmware and have adb usb acess to the phone? Thanks Guys.
