Guest phildrip
Hi all, New MoDaCo and Pulse user here :D I just bought a tmobile pulse and it arrived yesterday. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find a definitive answer (only for the Hero). Is there anything I can do without sending my phone away to unlock it from tmobile, so I can use it on O2? Cheers, phildrip

Cheers, phildrip you do not need to send away if you have a tmobile contract they will send you code for £15 no idea what they do if you just have PAYG we are also waiting for imei-check and uniquephone to have an online service

It's a payg phone, and tmobile were unwilling to unlock before I'd had the handset for 3 months. Has anyone tried a smartsim? Guest simonb29
Not sure if this helps, but last year I tried a Smartsim in the T-Mobile G1 just to test and it worked okay. I never tried to change any of the settings for Orange but it made and recieved calls. For £4 it's worth a try.

It worked in a few phones (I was testing it for work) before a colleague tried it and it stopped working after that. Once they are in and working, they are fine. Hope this helps... Apparently 'mobile unlocked' (uk site) also provide unlock codes for the Pulse - see: http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...service-centre/ I'm not affiliated with the site, btw.
