I have an email account in my application called "Outlook Email". This is the only account, so it tries to use it every time I write an email. However, I have no idea how to configure it! What is this for?

I had a gmail one before, but it was trying to use "Outlook Email" as a default account, so some of my emails were "lost".

I want to either get rid of it, or use it as default, but I can't do either.

Anyone know what this is?

Outlook Email application allows you to link directly via ActiveSync to your PC's Outlook email account, or, when mobile via your service provider network to a Microsoft Exchange Server which links your Windows email account (provided you have exchange server access). If you would like to set-up Gmail in Outlook then check-out the following link:

Alternatively, you may wish to set-up Gmail as an additional email account in your mobile phone - to do this check-out the following links (and note that if you wish to both receive and send email then you will need to obtain the SMTP address from your mobile service provider network):
