In order to keep it organised, please do not follow this thread and go to original Chainfire's one:

TouchFlo3D thread

Manila 2.5 port IS in progress, but work that needs to be done is extensive, so hang around that thread for news and updates.....

ORIGINAL POST:

Hi everyone!!!

Just wanted you to know that, after the incredible work from pals Ginkage & Chainfire on theirs OpenGL compatibility layer, and todays Touchflo 3D 1.3 release, i began working on a Manila 2.5 port.

I want to share that i MANAGED TO BUILD A 2.5 WORKING ON MY i8000, of course using Ginkage & Chainfire, and many material from XDA .

However, it needs heavy optimization, and lots of fixes for many broken dependencies, references and links..

Moreover, graphics and speed are really bad,

so because all of this, i'll wait to Chainfire accepts to perfect my Manila 2.5 version, so that it becomes really usable for everyone.

It is pretty obvious that is forum is loaded with many experienced and pro users, and with contribution from knowledge of all of them, we can develop better and faster software for our phones.

See you soon!

Great work! Hope to see your stuff soon, as my build didn't work, need to see what did the trick :D And then we can get cracking. We should roll it all up in one thread though... One libgles thread, one TF3D thread, latest stuff only :P

Wow, you guys are truly amazing being able to port something like Touchflo to Omnia II in such a short time.

i'm more of a reading user, but i have to admit that i follow the ongoing progress of the lib an touchflo with very much interest and desire (for tf3d 2.5 :P)

I hope you guys make it to port the stuff and fix all the dependencies :D, cause i used tf2d on my old omnia and really hate the widgets ;)

atm spb ms3.5 does the homescreen work.

and the best of course would be a cooked rom with tf2.5 in it, but as far is i know there is no kitchen out yet for omnia II or is it?

Seriously, leave this thread alone and keep your eyes on the other TF3D topic instead. It will be a while! Checking every day or so will be more than often enough :D
