Guest LGR Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Hey guys - I like the idea of tracking user preferences but how about making things clearer and easier - using polldaddy? The first post would contain the survey questions - and once you have submited your answer, you get to see the up-to-date results instantly! Just a thought - I see the OP is manually compiling answers here and this is quite cumbersome if Im not mistaking...
Guest jmsmartins Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Another important rating factor you left out is Battery Life!! I hate ROM's that chew the battery out. Steves 23081 and Nicklashide 23075 best ROMS especially if you want battery life. Id give both ROM's 9/10 for everything. it would help if you were a little more specific and if you tell me the exact rom you use (clean, neo, m2d...) thank u

Just a thought - I see the OP is manually compiling answers here and this is quite cumbersome if Im not mistaking... i think it can be a good idea. i also would like to improve the quality of this ranking. i'm thinking about change the scale to 1-20, so we cood distinguish more the roms. what do you people think? are u willing to helo me out with that poll? i'm not used to work on it cheers
Guest jmsmartins Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 So here it goes: Ryzry m2d 23081 stabiltity 9 responsivness 9 speed 8 Design 7 Cooked Apps 8 (omnialite apps are there but aren't set by default) Free program memory 8 battery: didn't use it enough time to figure it out Sector 23504 original titanium stability 8 responsivness 9 speed 8 design 8 cooked apps 8 (omnialite apps not set by default) Free program memory 8 the reply "thing" is annoying (reply button freezes the phone if messages are in threaded mode). Keyboard issue turns it difficult to use the bottom "taskbar" It's a very good rom though
Guest KazzarEB Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 the reply "thing" is annoying (reply button freezes the phone if messages are in threaded mode). There's a fix to correct that: FIXES: SMS Reply fix for all ROMS: SMS_FIX.cab
Guest jmsmartins Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 There's a fix to correct that: FIXES: SMS Reply fix for all ROMS: SMS_FIX.cab i installed that but didn't work... should i install on device or my storage?
Guest Sb. Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Yeah sorry, I am using purelite with NEO installed onto original titanium. I only use Neo. Today I went through 4 of the latest 6.5 ROM's from the main chef's. I ended up reinstalling steves purelite as it seemed to run smoothest and had all the right omnia lite programs installed which launch from homepage and large icons in start menu. Anzo's was last as this is the second time ive tried one of his roms and its buggy as hell. But I must stress that this my personal view and experience with certain roms's, from what I see performance tends to very from phone to phone and its best that you try all rom's and see which one suits you and your machine. :D
Guest krzyx2006 Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 KC's UL 23081 stability 10 speed 9 responsivness 9 free program memory 10 cooked apps 8 design 10 clean & fast :D

Guest Sb. Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Hi I am really confused about ROMS. Everyday a new version is coming out. I want to change my ROM but i dont know which one to choose... By the way what is the difference between 23081 and 23504? I am going to use PointUi which ROM do you recommend? Regards I havent noticed any difference between those two roms. Download a few roms and test them out and then decide. Spend a day between roms to see full features would be my best opinion. When I started to flash I was looking for the "best Rom" out there but it depends on what you like. Not many of stick to just "1" rom thats why its difficult to answer, plus today 1 chefs rom is good and the next its someone else. Happy flashing!!
Guest dollar99 Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Nicklashidegard's - FloTanium ROM (M2D + Neo) Build: 23504 stability 10 speed 10 responsivness 10 free program memory 10 cooked apps 9 design 10 really more responsive and faster. U should be adding this to the first page as currently his roms are one of the best among others especially with Flotanium.
