Guest waremike32 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 sorry to say I have already checked all the possible things, even changing versions and so, but this error is stil present and can't go around this bug, very disappointing, plus I have checked with different 21887 sources, different 040c mui, same thing with the 21874 of the first page with 040c. this bug isn't present with all the 28xxx builds i'am playing with. Very strange, have you built with 0409 files? You may need to rename a 0409 to 040C.
Guest gustavp Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 someone able to help me please for that when it builds my rom in several sys files appears this error! Can not map voicedll.dll \ imageinfo.bin

Guest lexuz Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Find the value: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GWE\Touch\Filter] "MinimumTapTime"=dword:28 ; 40ms minimum touch time in the RGU found inside (Build number example) SYS\23088\OS\ Then change the value from 28 to 0. Save, and enjoy your improved touch response :) after lots of trying i found that if you remove these lines the touch gets really sensitive works nice for me at least ;) tough i should share this you guys did helped me alot B)

You may need to rename a 0409 to 040C. tried also, rom booting in english and peimg is not a valid pocket pc application. I really don't understand, I will try a vanilla cooking with original kitchen, seems to me its a bug in the newer version, if someone could confirm cooking with build 21887 is fonctionnal? thanks

Guest ock Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 (edited) Happy new year everyone! Just a question: does anyone know how to set the default year at the welcome screen? It's set to 1 Jan 2008 by default but it's now 2010, perhaps we can move it two yrs ahead. BTW, does anyone here experience a problem with the time resetting to 1 Jan 2008 after a soft reset? It seems to occur randomly to me. Thanks in advance. Edited January 1, 2010 by ock

Use DotFred's Task Manager on a rom that it works on to view dependencies. You must be missing something.

Guest smaury Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 The new version of the kitchen allow to customize a lot of things from theUI, but for the most you must be a registre user. Allthings that registred users can customize from the UI, non registred user can edit from the registry. To do that you must put some strings to your Customer.csc, so just add and edit according your preferce this in the CSCConfig.reg. ;---------------Info ROM & Various------------------------------------------------- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM] "ROMDate"="02/01/2010" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\DeviceBeta] "About"="- by Smaury" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM] "ROMVersion"="Write here the name of your ROM" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Ident] "Name"="Write here your Name" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Ident] "Desc"="Write here the description" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Owner] "Name"="Name" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Settings] "LocalName"="Samsung Omnia" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings] "SMSDeliveryNotify"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings] "SMSNoSentMsg"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings] "SMSUnicode"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM] "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar] "LimitedClock"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Taskbar] "ConsistentClockOrBattery"=dword:00000001 "LegacyGprsNotification"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip] "TurnOffAutoDeploy"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies] "00001001"=dword:1 "00001017"=dword:80 "0000101A"=dword:1 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Customer Feedback] "Group"=dword:1 "Redirect"="" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Error Reporting] "Hide"=dword:1 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ErrorReporting\DumpSettings] "DumpEnabled"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Certificates] "Group"=dword:1 "Hide"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Versions] "Aku"=".5.5.0" ;---------------------------------------- I hope it'll be usefull for someone!

Thanks in advance. just an idea. i see cooked rom usually preinstalled mortscript. if there is some script loaded at startup, why don't just use mortscript to set date and time, and maybe more things... for date to 01/01/2010, just add this code to mscr. setdate(1,1,2010) everytime hardreset, it will load. so, its virtually set as "default date" of the rom.
