I've extracted WQVGA packages for VK users:

Download

Left most of the WQVGA packages untouched, so do a cleanup of those you don't need.

not working ( cprog and some programs ) can U test ???

Any error messages with regards to cprog?

no it doesnt show up and no signal

Edit :

I have a start menu bug ....

when I install any program , the program not shown in it

after a soft reset the program is shown

any idea

Two new builds...

New 28xxx build, after a long time, 28233. It seems that it is not timebombed, there´s no beta reminder also. Not recmodded, cleaned of unused cpr files.

hello u guys i've been the past time trying to perfect my own rom..... and here i go again......

when i connect my omnia to the net power i notice that it takes a few seconds before the battery icon changes to charging icon, i've managed to localize the problem and it lies in the map Shell and i also found one that really works good.

The problem is that if i change this map i also have to change the map OS ( they r somehow connected). I really would like to pinpoint the file in the map Shell i would have to change in order to make other builds work???

I hope i make some sense

attached the shell map that does the trick for me.

Hope somebody can help me with this :huh:

I have new problem that I can't play any videos and music

I've include mediaOs but nothing happen can't play any musiic and videos

even when disable MLU service

Any Idea ??

....downloaded the latest visual kitchen ....read alot before I started to cook and then it just doesn't go!! no matter what I do!....neither on Windows 7 or XP it just get the same error......

what now?

Haha.. just got this error myself while cooking. Turns out that if there are subfolders under the "files" folder in your EXT packages, this error comes up. Just in case someone finds this useful someday.

I have some problem.

I do package with theme, and when i'm scroll in menu "Start", screen - blink.

if i change theme to classic blue - it's all right.

Please help =)

I made for my use and wanted to opinion all we can do to improve ... count on help from you, I share with everyone, from those interested.

Not wanting to disturb, use the Visual Kitchen Vistang, but every time I do a Rom have to reboot to make another mistake of giving platform NB NBH ...

Any help will be of good size.

Check your EXT folders in Visual Kitchen, structure should be something like (pardon my crude illustration)

EXT

L__M2D

L___ HTCFramework

L___GoogleMaps

So there shouldn't be subfolders under HTCFramework, GoogleMaps etc.

I have to leave all the subfolders in the EXT ? But the kitchen look even if they are will recognize where they were?

I even take the folders that contain everything you said but still gave error?

See the photo of my EXT please.

You were the one of Master Cook helped me because the rest either gave a satisfaction, a little help it was.

As I'm crawling yet, it's hard understands best what we really do.

Still do not know why it happens in Vista the erro.But did with XP and everything worked, I no longer have the error platform rebuilder.

I have a little gift for you guys :) Vistang from xda made a visual kitchen for HTC... but i wrote to him and we made a few changes to work this kitchen on omnia roms :P and it work :D

Kitchen is based on bepe's platformrebuilder.exe, LZX compression is ON by default,

Quick manual:

1. Place you OEM files in OEM directory :D

2. Make new directory in SYS with name is your build number (for example 21874), and copy you SYS files in to it (without .ROM and .VM)

3. Make new directory in ROM with name is your build number (for example 21874), and copy in it MSXIPKernel direcotry from this build

4. Place you EXT packs in EXT directory,

5. Run Recmod SYS.cmd and write you build version,

6. Run DIY ROM Utility.exe and you can chose you version/lang/Edition

7. You can select with directory's should be in rom or not (skip files)

8. If you are ready... press Build !! :D

DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING IN SETTINGS TAB

You bin file is in RELEASE directory named pda.bin

Sorry for my english... but i think you will know what i mean :P hehe

Hi there how do open or extract rom to dump some unwanted files and programs for customizing downloaded from this forum or form samsung oem or any other. kudos to yo all for all this time consuming work and effort great jobs.......
