Guest onderduiker Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 There is a networkfolder plugin I always used on my HTC. I tried to install it on my omnia II but with no succes. The install is oke, but I can't connect to any windowsshare. I also tried a trial from resco explorere, no succes. Than we have a samsungs own software (Connected Home) but when I want to "connect contents" it finds nothing at all. So my question is it possible to connect to shared folders on my destop with the omnia II ?
Guest farookh Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 nobody any idea ? try this or resco explorer both work http://www.vmobilesoftware.com/NetworkBrowser.htm
Guest onderduiker Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Thanks or your answer, I already tried resco explorer but that didn't work. I will try networkbrowser. But why is samsungs own appl. not working ?
Guest Goodge Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Samsungs "Connected Home" is a DLNA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Living_Network_Alliance) client/server. It can be used to stream content to the PS3, XBox 360, Windows Media Player, and so on... It can't open network shares though.

Just activate the DLNA server and "connected home" works like a sharm. thanks again
