Guest DanWilson Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Patiently awaiting instructions as to where the zImage is supposed to be flashed. I think we're to make a boot.img with it. I tried flashing it to the Pulse. Fastboot failed me...
Guest BigBearMDC Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Damn acpuclock ... It'll take a bit longer ...

Not supposed to flash it that way, glad it didn't screw anything up for you. I guess its supposed to go to ramdisk, but hey..... patience is key here.

I had flash the BB 1.5 zImage about 8-9 times wile I was trying to find the reason why the MT doesn't work with his MT kernel. Just change it to boot.img. And Hell Yeah! Patience is really the key here. Thank's to gusthy and flibble I managed to fix the adb and fastboot of my pulse. So right now I'll try the Big Bear's kernel.
Guest BigBearMDC Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Hmmm ... # cat cpuinfo_max_freq 760000 # cat cpuinfo_min_freq 122880 # cat scaling_cur_freq 760000 # cat scaling_governor performance[/code]

What, like you renamed the "zImage" to "boot.img" and flashed it?

Guest totiadrenalin Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Really? So ok! Thanks for telling me at the right time. This is really important for me. I have anything what the pulse need to have except the MT touchscreen driver. SO give it to me baby! Aha!!! Aha!!
Guest DanWilson Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 I'll re-patch it and upload it again in boot.img format then  Fixed.

Guest BigBearMDC Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 WAIT, is that 760Mhz or i am wrong? (i think not :() Uhm no :) 7.6 GHz ... Of course it is :) WOW that second boot was QUICK
Guest flip360 Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) that would be quite a serious bump for the pulse, GIMME  Edited September 24, 2010 by flip360
Guest DanWilson Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Uhm no :) 7.6 GHz ... Of course it is :( WOW that second boot was QUICK  As quick as Desire HD?
Guest Holograph Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Uhm no :) 7.6 GHz ... Of course it is :( WOW that second boot was QUICK  I guess the pulse has heat sensors, in case it's overheating?
Guest BigBearMDC Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 I guess the pulse has heat sensors, in case it's overheating? Sure it has. It makes BOOOM once it overheats.
Guest BigBearMDC Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 As quick as Desire HD? I dunno I don't have a Desire HD
Guest totiadrenalin Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 No reboots so far :) But its getting warm  Lower the voltage. undervoltage it. Because if u increase the voltage you could burn up the CPU. just read the /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/stats/trans_table. You will get the picture. Read this first. , This, This, and This
Guest DanWilson Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 I dunno I don't have a Desire HD  Yah, but you've seen the videos? The ones with the ROM on the Desire/Incredible and it boots in *clicks* that. ETA and we need a new thread. And I'm hungry. ETA for the EATs?
