Multitouch possible in theory?

Meant to ask, is anyone working on the camera and video playback issue at the moment or is it a dead end?

Probably best asking that question in the Froyo thread.

Even better cos I imagine most of us will be using that util anyway once the overclockable kernel is available.

Yea it's definitely a good way to control clock speeds. I currently have it so it's at 600 max but when battery is below 50% it drops back down to the default 528 max...

Regarding multitouch ... I probably have some bad news. Can't tell you anything more precise yet; you'll have to wait until the evening.

Best regards,

BB

Bad news being we have no way to update our firmware to support multitouch?

What? How is that hopefully?

"Bad news being we have no way to update our firmware to support multitouch?"

Or is that the best case scenario?

That would be the best case scenario ...

But as I don't have any further info I can't exactly say what's the problem. So just wait for the evening, at least a new custom kernel will be out then

That MT isn't working even if you flash another touchscreen controller firmware.

Oh.

I agree.

But I thought we had proof that it was working.

Or

I thought we had it working in 1.5?

Whichever is better.

Yap thought that too, but it might be that it was just one more very weird bug / side effect

Nah. MT might work. Give it all you can, then move on.

Like Holby City or something.

The fake doctors and nurses never give up till the fake patient dies a fake death. Then the fake doctors and fake nurses move on to another fake patient, who has been shot in the fake leg with a fake gun.

So your saying we should all buy fake pulse display models and then fake install fake android then use our fake multi-touch.

Also, you watch holby city?

It was either that or Casualty.

In fact, it was Casualty.

Whats up with that? At least it's not Eastenders!

And I forgot about PMing you, so I'll do that in about 10 minutes.

My cousins coming up soon.

Ok!

So now the report you need.

FLB-MOD 1.6b

flibble's boot.img

In the MT visualizer I get the bug that BB said, when I perform cat /proc/kmsg something interesting is happening.

First the numbers in seconf finger was jumping from x0-255 0-10 and etc.

But if I put both of the fingers at the exact time, the strange thing is that in second or two i have numbers in both of the fingers, not jumping, but stay like:

<4>[578, synaptics_wq] [6715,872765] x 5085, y 365, z 31, w 5 F 2

<4>[578, synaptics_wq] [6715,872765] x 3145, y 3274, z 31, w 0-3(jumping) F 0-2(jumping)

And I'm sorry that I didn't report earlier, but I just get home now, I didn't have time to do it in the morning.

And one more strange thing.

In the MT photosortr I can resize pictures.

I don't know is this a well known bnug or what.

Just to let you know what I get.

I'll make video now and upload it on youtube.

Look under the adrenalinmkd account.

Okay I just tried to reproduce the same thing with my phone and that didn't work

The values for my second finger are just weirdly jumping B)

That might really be good news!
