phone does not vibrate on ring when set to vibrate/silent profile

hey

just noticed this problem with my i8000 today

when in normal sound profile it will ring and vibrate but when set to vibrate only or silent mode my phone will not vibrate on incoming calls.. it will still vibrate on sms though

have gone through all the settings but they only seem to relate to the 'normal' sound profile when adjusting vibration etc...

i am pretty sure this only started happening since i flashed my phone from default 6.1 rom to ij9 win6.5 rom...

anyone else have the same issue or know of any fixes??? i think there maybe a setting in the registry that is messed up but i cant find anything

just noticed while trying to fix the above problem that my phone does not vibrate on touch anymore either... wtf??

all the settings for vibrate on touch are on

still vibrate fine on sms and stuff though..

did a soft-reset aswell but still no good!

Try the following:

1. press the volume rocker on the side of the phone.

2. Display shows the current system volume

3. Select the second tab for ringer volume

4. Click the speaker icon in the center.

5. It now changes to vibrate icon.

6. increase the vibration volume to desired level if it is currently set to "0"

Wow, perfect solution!!!

I hadn't noticed that you could also set the vibration strength on those rockers!!! All of my vibration settings were at 0, but after changing them, everything is fine again. Thanks firefly!!
