If you are tired of the Samsung calculator.. You can try another alternative , New HTC Calculator Build 1920 from HTC Leo.

Found it on this site.. http://www.techparaiso.com/applications-to...ll-resolutions/

I downloaded the Pack which only installs in Storage/Internal Card, however during installation choose install to the \Storage Card instead of \My Storage. My first attempt was installing to \My Storage but failed. It worked when I installed in the \Storage Card.

Remember to download the fix.cab for non-htc device which is found in the website.

To access to the scientific mode, you have to rotate the screen (not auto rotation, you have to tweak your registry).

Hahah , we all should just have bought HTC phones in the first place, people keep wanting to get HTC stuff on their devices ( I do that too), the TouchFlo, Keyboard, now the calculator.

Thanks for sharing though.

Would you happen to know where can I get a HTC keyboard that works on Omnia II , i install one my phone but after a reset my phone didn't boot so I had to do a hard reset ??

Why the frak buy an O2 if all you want is a HTC?

And imagine how silly it looks if others see a non HTC, apple or other brands UI on what is clearly not a htc, apple or other branded phone.

Well, some people may like the iPhone icons but dislike the "useless" phone itself^^

Some other people may like the HTC applications but dislike the "King bed" size of the HD2^^

Possible but not quite convincing

Better use the time to improve it instead of assuming the other man's GF must be better !!!!

Mind you, I did go through this phase myself and it actually got pretty embarassing after people started laughing at the "clone" and of usually a not very well done "clone" at that.

Stopped doing that very very quick.

valid point, but using touchflo on omnia in my opinion does improves the phone, at the end its like using third party application, no one questions that !! why use SPB MS3 when we have samsung widgets for example?

Using this calculator for example I do think its useless besides I don't go around showing my phone to anyone, I use it for my self and whatever makes it easier to use HTC or not I'm willing to try.

slds,

corpisa - you are right about using it ourselves, but the inevitable "can it look at the new phone" syndrome always creeps up whenever friends or co-workers are around...

I found that the New HTC Calculator Build 1920 is much faster than the original Samsung one.

Try to divide 1200/22 and you will see what I mean.

Although I feel that the calculations are much more precise now.

And everyone I show my O2 says "Wow, what a cool skin, you have a really nice calculator..."

:) sorry for OT

To you.

This is not some sort of independent, absolute measure or something. It's like taste in music. Making putatively objective statements about things like this is foolish.

Personally, I buy WM-based phones for the very reason that they are so customizable, and I can walk away from the straightjacket that vendors try to wrap around their costumers to have the features and presentation that they think everyone wants. I really don't give a rat's ass about what UI and features come on the phone; I customize it heavily with software, registry changes, etc. to meet my needs and taste.

In that spirit, I really don't pay any attention where the software comes from. If it's a ported UI or app from another phone, who cares? If it's purchased 3rd party software, again who cares? I bought the Omnia because of the platform, not software config Verizon decided I should have. Put M2D on it shortly after I got it. I'm running SPB MS3 on it now.

To cite one of the best examples of this flexibility, I've got SRS WOWHD installed on the 910 (I see it's been tweaked to run on the O2... Fantastic!), and it's one of the best additions Ive made. Android? iPhone? Symbian? SOL.

Finally, you must hang out with some rather petty, childish people if they are so obsessed with smartphones that they would tease and laugh at you over something so..... idiotic.

because in certain parts of the world, the price difference between them is alot..

it's like asking why the frak buy an Hyundai if all you want is a Lexus..

don't worry don't have Lexus stuff on a hyundai because i don't own a car.. :D
