I am using omnia 2 in tv out mode trought nokia cable from n95 in my tv. The problem is that the screen is not complety field by the image, there are black borders on the top, bottom left and right sides of the screen. The Resolution of my TV is: 480 x 234 ratio 16:9. I have changed Tv out Settings but no matter if choose 4:3 or 16:9 format, the screen of the tv is never filled totally, there are those boring black boarders at the corners of the image, making it impossible o fill all the screen with the mobile image. Is there a Way of editing registry to be able to overscan the screen so that these blackborders can disappear and I will have real full screen in tv out mode? How do I change de resolution of the Tv out and so peform the overscan of the imagem to fill my Tv screen? Thanks for the help

Yes Dr Carlos, you have to go to Samsung Settings > General Settings > TV OUT > There you have various options to set from, like tv standard (ntsc, pal, etc) , video quality, brightness, AND SCREEN RATIO : 4:3 or 16:9.. that should do it ...:)

sorry, I made my english hard to understand. I have already changed those configurations in Tv out settings. But no matter if I chose 16:9 or 4:3, the image shown on tv still have black borders on top , bottom , left and right. I wish i could resize the image shown, using registry editing, so that i could enlarge image to fill out all the screen, making these black borders go out. Please help me to do this overscan

Hard to help as some of your information makes no sense. For example, a 16:9 display with a 480x234 resolution. I don't think any such animal exists in the world.

Rather, it sounds like you are watching media that is 480x234 on a display with a 640x480 display resolution, non-square pixels, and the black borders are showing because of this. It's not surprising that the phone doesn't include features to zoom the TV output.

What you need to do is access the zoom feature of your TV, which I'd be amazed if it didn't have this ability. Usually under the Display Properties in the settings menu.

Tell us the make and model of your TV, and I can probably check the Owner's Manual online and tell you how to do it.
