Guest vince1970 Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 M2D Leo Beta ROM is the best one I've ever used on Omnia. Thanks a lot for that experience... where can i get this ROM. Can you provide me the link and thanks.
Guest cga Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Hi Dheewatara, Very good ROM. Would you consider adding to your ROMs the ISP auto configuration like in Khuanchai ROMs Thanks
Guest sivaspor Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Please can someone tell me what is exactly difference between thoose versions? Rom i900 Omnia V26 WM6.5.3 build 23091.5.3 Semi-Lite beta1 (29/11/09) Rom i900 Omnia V27 WM6.5.3 build 28005.5.3 Semi-Lite beta1 (29/11/09) Rom i900 Omnia V28 WM6.5.3 build 23614.5.5 Semi-Lite beta1 (29/11/09) All of them have same specifications, cooked at same time. Say. Which one we have to choose? What we have to choose? How can we choose? Please don't tell me about that com list. I want to know why there is 3 roms and they maded at same date without difference ( I saw a few very little bit points but it's mean nothing ). Trying new roms goes to like blind walk in midnight. I just tried Flotitanium rom and that was worse rom I've ever tried. Every programs I've tried freezes up, phone restarts itself , GPS won't connect sometimes. Slietounlock locks to device completely. i900 is not a touch screen anymore. It's punch or kick screen now. Yes, it's true. We are appreciated and we know you work so hard and you don't expect anything. We respect you, at least I'm. But. A little bit how to and info will be really great ( About differences and changes ). Sorry for bad english :D BTW: This rom runs really fast, the only negative point is M2D isn't included and it's hard to be installed. But. If you like quite lite versions this rom is much faster than others. Thanks, Regards. Edited November 30, 2009 by sivaspor
Guest Jeanne8fr Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Hi Dheewatara, Very good ROM. Would you consider adding to your ROMs the ISP auto configuration like in Khuanchai ROMs Thanks There is something with these roms which is a little annoying. When you first install it and it gets to the place where it detects a sim card, it asks if you want to configure it, there is a "yes" and a "no" at the bottom but before you have a chance to click, it goes on to the next step. I have done several hard resets trying to catch it but never could. I have had to use the ADC.exe program on it to configure my data connections. Maybe they need to fix that. Not sure if they read this or if we can communicate with the guys. I love the rom though. I just installed 28004 this weekend. I am trying to hold off installing 28005. It's becoming an addiction. J.
Guest virgoman Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Hi Friends, How do I improve the sound with the microphone AudioGainControl tool. Video capture in the sound quality is too low .. Sorry for my bad english .. :D thank you very much for your help.

Its under Settings > Connections > Browser Connection > Tick the checkbox :D Mine didnt work until I found this setting. If its across ROMs its probably going to be a default 6.5.1 setting and hopefully not your phone part. Edited November 30, 2009 by cruddasj

Let me know if you get the same problem? (randomly wont appear, graphics not there, but there is functionality, if you scroll where the tabs would be it changes the taskbar options) :s I use the Lite ROM with SPBShell and all SPB stuff I have been using these ROMs since they came over to Modaco by Dheewatara, previously I was using Khuanchai ROM I like this one more than previous ROM 28002 because wm dialler in black. I didn't like dialler in previous 28002 Also in previous ROM spb keyboard wasn't working right, I couldn't key in the letter "A" properly even after installing my SPB keyboard cab The only thing that would be nice in this ROM is the ISP auto configuration like Khuanchai lite ROMs to avoid the hazel of entering ISP settings manually.   I have not tried this: (automatically detect network settings option?? Its under Settings > Connections > Browser Connection > Tick the checkbox) In Khuanchai ROM there was a setting for auto configure the modem and it was done in a second after booting the Omnia Also would be nice if the battery icon get fixed, I don't know if this can be fixed by the cookers but the link has been broken in all the builds Touch response is supper in all theses ROMs Great work and thanks all the people involved in the ROM cooking Cheers

Guest Michelangelos Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 As usual, this roms doesn´t have any phone part included ..... right? May I install this correctly on my I900L...? sorry to ask again from other threads, but it is never specified in the first post and is very important to avoid problems with different 3G bands around the world. thanks in advance!! great work! :D

Guest Genix9 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Glad to see the SS dialler is back in action in 28005, now just the calc app :D . Not installed for too long yet, but what I've found so far with the same apps and configs I had running on 28004 (YMMV); - 28005 seems "laggy" and less responsive than 28004 though, particularly at the Titanium home screen. - Memory management does seem a bit better than in 28004, and closed apps release memory better by the looks of things. Will see how it goes and maybe give 23614 a bash sometime later as well. Edited December 1, 2009 by Genix9
