How is the performance/stability/touch compare to the last 2 ROMs (v27-28005 and V28-23614) ??

Also, does this ROM contain the new M$ keyboard layout or still the tiny crappy look ??

Hi all,

I am new to this thread, I am used to flashing Sectors ROMs but now he's gone :D I would really like the boot up animation from the 28005 ROM. Could some kind soul post the Ani_Poweron.gif from the Windows folder........or provide a link................

Sorry for late response. Where the "Beta expires" text that we have seen in some builds would be, there is now a watermark saying 'Mobiz' Easy to remove though, just take it off in the registry as you would the beta expires watermark and soft reset :D

i see no watermark saying mobiz in 23614... where do u see it? i never flashed a time bombed rom so i don't know where it's supposed to be seen

Well unless it had changed since it was first introduced :S My watermark appeared on the homescreen and main menu. Have a look at your registry under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\DeviceBeta.

Mine had the value Mobiz under the Today Key, making the word Mobiz appear on my homescreen.

Good question, in wich rom can we find the new MS keyboard supposed to be in build 28005? My fingerkeyboard never loads after reboot

Hello,

Does anyone know which settings in AudioGainControl shall be changed in order to decrease the volume of the incoming voice during call? It is too loud for me even when the volume control is on the minimum.

Hey all again, im home and looking for some cooking :( Anyone using the 28008 build, could you please let me know if they have fixed the bug on the homescreen settings tab? Where the move down on the order of the today plugins doesnt fit the text? Or if your a really cool cat, maybe even a screenshot?? :D

Ah okay, I may be flashing tonight as well lol, its going to depend on whether my own ROM has the sleeping bug still with the DXD1 drivers =/

Did you watch my rom review of 28005? In it, when you go to Settings > Home > Items you will see that on the Move Down button the text overlaps the edges of the button.

Could you let me know if it still does on 28008?

I dont have an issue as I use TP as by default.

In your situation, use SIPChange (search here) to set the default KB.

You can also try resco KB which is nice too but I personally prefer TP.
