What is SS service ?

It's mean your Omnia bricked ! Now you cant do anything. Just bring it to Samsung Customer Service to reflash.

Rom 28008 is not stable, it's all because you didnt read the previous post before flashing.

I assume you run either Vista or 7?

1) Ok, run i900 executor, load the rom into in and it will split it into different parts - pda, phone, eboot, csc.

2) Open Grandprix and load these parts. Do not load the phone part, it will most likely cause the phone to brick. Underneath it has a button saying "detect". Click it and check the box "start download immediately".

3) Your phone should be off. Plug it into the computer and start it up. If it's the first time you've flashed it will start downloading the driver and Grandprix will fail. This is ok, just let the driver to download.

4) Restart the phone after the driver has installed. Just keep pressing the restart button if Grandprix keeps failing to detect your phone, it will find it eventually.

Hi All,

It looks preety much that i screwed my omnia.

Now when i reset or start the phone only red light comes and no samsung boot screen appears.

when connected with usb is not recognised by comp.

Guys, any comment !!!!

I was happy on dheev's 28005 but got greedy when i saw 28008 and now totally lost.

need to sleep now.

Any help welcome.

I have not answered about white wheather configuration pages.

You have solution or not ? on sector post i see many questions about this problem but not answers.

Hi, I see the link to 28008 lite is working now and the file size I just downloaded is different from the 1st time it was released. Is the bug mentioned earlier for 28008 fixed or shall I wait for a newer released...

My video and audio are fine with coreplayer in build v23614 with default settings. Have a look at the quality of what you are playing.
