You have saved me time installing these ROMs, then they are just a copy of Khuanchai ROMs

Your two bugs are known in Khuanchai ROMs build 23071 and 23081. The battery link is broken and that is why I’m not using them till somebody get them fixed. See my thread in Khuanchai latest ROM

SPB options doesn’t support the new layouts of Microsoft, that is why “Options” button freezes when clicking on it

Is the battery link broken for build 28002? Is that the build you have?

Ok, for a start, I and many other think K's rom were the bomb, so a newer build in the same style is exactly what I and others want.

BT works properly with these roms.....

If you decide not to use a rom because of a battery icon then that is your choice, even though there are many other options to

check your power...

As for the SPB comment, what option button are you talking about, just the battery widget?

If you use SPB like I do, put the SPB battery icon with the % display down first, then superimpose/put on top the "power" icon from settings/system and when you click it it takes you to the power settings, but still shows the % of the SPB power icon.

If that is what stops you using a rom then you are one picky bugger, but respectfully that is your choice and as they say

each to their own :)

Edit, after re-reading that it sounds a bit harsh, I wasn't having a go, I just think they are good roms;)

To be honest I don’t even use the battery icon but stop using the 23081 ROM because the battery broken link, maybe because I first thought it was SPB bug and I was going mad and not body was mentioning anything about this broken link.

Anyway I just use S2U2 battery icon and I love Khuanchai ROM

How do you do all this that you mentioned? I don’t quite get it.

Put the SPB battery icon with the % display down first, then superimpose/put on top the "power" icon from settings/system and when you click it takes you to the power settings, but still shows the % of the SPB power icon. Do you have screenshot please?

The options is in the SPB keyboard. Go to input and click on Option, it freezes the phone

Sorry mate, I thought you were saying that clicking some option in mobile shell was freezing.

As for the SPB keyboard options, yep, it does freeze but I use Touchpal anyway so it is not an issue:)

If you love SPB keyboard then I guess this will be an issue for you, what happens if you install a cab of

it on top of the rom, does it fix the issue??

The battery icon thing....

In mobile shell, go to add widget, battery and select it.

Now you have the spb battery widget on the lifestyle screen...

Go to add widget again, settings, system, and select the power widget.

Go back to the lifestyle screen and drag the power widget and place it on top of the

spb battery widget...yeah I know, doesn't exactly line up, close enough...

now you should have the % reading reading from the spb widget but if you click it it should take

you to the power settings.

Hope that make sense:)

About SPB keyboard installing the cab doesn’t fix the OPTIONS button but it doesn’t bother me because still I can use the keyboard, the options button is only if you want to change the skin

I tried TouchPal but I like more the full screen of SPB in landsacape.

TouchPal is going to have a new release that support full landscape for Omnia resolution so I’m waiting for that

Definitely I’ll flash my phone tonight one more time to try this build, this keeps going on every week J like an addiction

Cheers Matt

Thinks you might need this. Copy to windows folder and click IMEIformat.exe. I don't know if it works, never tried it and i never remove IMEI from my roms.. Try at your own risk :)

The battery issue wouldn't keep me from using this ROM, the completely absence of notifications in Messenger is what always put me away from Khuanchai's ROMs and now from this ROM. I guess this cookers don't use WLM (Khuanchai acknowledge that to me some time ago). Is sad because the ROMs are pretty good (very fast, but Messenger is a vital app for me. If somebody find a solution for this, please let me know.

As you've known Master Kuanchai change his mobile phone to OmniaII and discontinue release Omnia's rom.So he ask "PdaMobiz rom staff" to release Omnia's rom instead and Master Dheewatara already done.If you visit PDAMobiz.com you will see Master Kuanchai and Master Dheewatara are "Mobiz rom staff". :)

It's not that Mr. Dhee replace Mr. Kwanchai, they are both PDA mobiz rom for many moths now, the only reason you only know Mr. Kwanchai is because he posted his rom here but other PDA mobiz rom cooker did not distribute there cooking outside the board. For omnia rom there are around 10 cookers for PDA mobiz but lately only couple still active sinces the phone is sort of a past now.

just give a background to friends here ^^.

btw. most of PDA rom staffs use the same cooking tools so these roms probably similar in some way.

and I already told Mr. Dhee that his rom go inter.

Thanks Nick, that would be very helpful. Even better than a cab, if it's a registry thing, would be excellent to know which entries in the registry are the ones modified.

I am using the 28002. Love it. I had already gone to an other ROM from an other chef but the 'touch' in all the others is just as good as this.

This is the same feel as Khuanchai's ROM. Nobody comes close to him.

I found one little problem:

The values in Showcase for the 'old task bar' and the 'new task bar' are reversed so that if you use Resco Explorer, instead of making it better it makes it worse.

Below are the correct values.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]

"SUITE_NewTaskbarSize"=dword:00000012 (Decimal 17)

"SUITE_OldTaskbarSize"=dword:0000001A (Decimal 26)

Otherwise, Great ROM. I am never changing again :-)

I, too, is very similar to the work performed by KH, INTALLED and liked a lot, it's fast, stable, with several utilities that did not know and even more, without consuming too much memory, congratulations on innovation and please, when there was news in place site.

thank you very much
