Toggle between 3G and 2G?

Is it possible to toggle between 3G and 2G data connectivity? I use the mobile version of skype on my device and experience a huge drop in battery-power while keeping it in the background, which is quite logical considering it the HSDPA (3G+) connection it keeps alive at all time.

So Id like to use a app that either lets me toogle 3G off and on or does that automaticly by measuring the bandwith utilization.

Thanks alot, I was searching xda myself but didnt come up with good results.

The App is exactly what I was searching for, has every option I desired (even more) and it works well so far. Plus it is from Chainfire;)

Will report back if and how much it actually helps the battery drain (in my case).
