Hi

Does anyone know if there is the option to do a soft-reset within WM 6.5...i.e without using the soft-reset button....a widget would be ideal!

no, you have to use a 3rd party application

Yes, you have to try other applications; my recommendation would be the popular “SPB Shell 3.5” which I prefer it to Samsung TouchWiz

Installed, then got to menu --> option --> Soft reset.

I did what is said and now I put the softreset shortcut in my start menu near the top so I dont have to keep scrolling down.

Then press that widget like softreset shortcut and the entire phone softresets. No need to open any apps or anything like that. Works so well
