However,noticed that the menu button (when pressed on the Home screen) sometimes shows the keypad,and sometimes a panel of buttons including 'settings' etc. Anyone else see this or know why it does this? Guest Hermg Posted November 24, 2009 Report Share Posted November 24, 2009 (edited) If you hold down the menu button for a few seconds, it gives you a keyboard. If you then type a number, it will give you the dial screen. If you then type a letter, it will search the contacts. Eg, if you type E, it will give all contacts starting with E.
