I believe I finally noticed the reason for all the lag I keep getting on my phone. Turns out I have almost 2000 text messages stored inside my phone, but I want to know is there anyway to save the text messages to my PC before I delete them from my phone so i can view them anytime again?

Is that feature already on the phone? or is there a 3rd party app for that?

there's a lot of ways you can save your messages: you could use myphone which is an app on your phone, and upload all your text messages directly to a microsoft server so you can view them anytime, although you'd probably want to be connected to wifi when doing this. if you want them on your computer, you can use either of samsungs pc studios - the normal one or kies, which both support this function (just run a quick search for it on the forums and you'll get the links to them). Or, you could also use many other numerous third party solutions, there's too many to list!

myPhone O.O damn thanks for reminding me that exists. I've tried with KIES but problem was that an exception in some other language kept appearing whenever it tries to access the messages.

Hmm any that you use in particiular? Or any preferred one?

Hmm i have a question about the myPhone, does it save the text messages even after I delete them off my phone? or are those on the site deleted too after I sync again?

I haven't tried the Samsung PC Studio cause I've been reading that it does not work well at all with Vista machines

ok, yeh i wouldnt be too sure about that - using windows 7. I've only tried free solutions to the problem and i'd have to say the samsung pc studio's are probably the best way to view sms on your pc, im not too impressed with myphone. you could also try something like this: http://www.synergetechsolutions.com/mobilesmssync.aspx i used to use it on my omnia i900.
