i live in Argentine and the celular number fomat is, for example, 1153288445. I import the agenda for my old Palm Treo and i have the celular numbers in the format , in this ex, 1553288445. ( 15 is de prefix to dial from a fix telephone net).

I change the CallIDMatch to 7 ( and also 8) and my Omnia does not recognice the caller. Is anything wrong?

Thanks a lot.

Regards

Marcelo

If the call id match is set to 7 it will match on the last 7 digits of the number of the incoming call. eg for your example above 3288445. What number shows as the incoming number when u receive a call that doesnt match an entry in your contacts list? Is the incoming call sending their callerid or maybe it is blocked?

Thanks for the response. 1153288445 is the the number thats shows as the incoming number when i receive a call. For this reason i put the caller id match to 7 because i have 1553288445 save in my agenda. i dont understand why doesnt work. Thanks again.

That's odd.

Only other suggestions ..

If you have more than one number stored that ends with 3288445 and call id set to 7, it will not be able to identify the caller. Maybe you accidentally have two numbers ending like this in your contacts? (a friend had this problem in that they had saved a contact record with a phone number and also an ICE (in case of emergency) contact with the same number so it couldn't identify caller since there were two records with same number). Also I recall someone posting something about it only matching on numbers stored in particular fields in the contact record.

i have the problems with all my celulars contacts numbers and 1153288445 was only an example. i don have two or more numbers ending in the same mode. i think that i must change all my number in my agenda from from the format 155xxxxxxx to 115xxxxxxx.

:D

Thanks for the help!
