Apply customized Ring tones by caller

How do set up ring tones by caller? This is easily done on most standard mobile phones but the Phonebook doesn't seem to allow this option.

Follow these steps;

Start> Contacts> "open your desired contact"> Menu> edit> Set RingTone> Browse Device "for your preferred ringtone"

Hope it helps, there are few more ways but this was what came to my mind first :D

I can only edit Name and Number. Am using Win 6.5 downloaded via NPS. I had the same thought that you suggested in mind, but unfortunately the Edit menu doesn't have Set Ring Tone. :D

Any other suggestions?

I imagine you have your contacts saved on the sim card thus why there are limited options.

I have the option to "Add Field" at the bottom of "edit contact" where I can add ringtone and other details.

Yes, as long as they are on your SIM, I don't see any easy way to modify them thru "Contact" that we mentioned or "PhoneBook" by Add field option unless you copy them from sim to your phone where there are more flexibilities available for each contact
