Sony Ericsson debuts see-through Xperia phone

How cool is that? Sony Ericsson has released a see through mobile phone as part of their Xperia ranges! See photo on the right...

Mobile maker Sony Ericsson has debuted another phone in its Xperia range - but with a twist.

The see-through display is a world first, according to Sony Ericsson, requiring battery, memory card and antenna to be miniaturised to fit inside the bottom portion of the device.

Unlike other devices in the series, such as the X2 smartphone and the upcoming X10 Android device, the Xperia Pureness mobile phone (pictured above) has been designed to offer fewer features, not more.

After 2 years of development, they have managed to get this phone along with music player, FM radio, video streaming, internet and email access include Exchange support. But all via 1.8-inch QVGA screen and greyscale screen. And no camera. :D

Oh and £650 price tag!
