Guest doaner Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 I have been having an odd issue with my Bell Omnia 2, running OEM firmware. I have a Motorola T605 Professional car kit installed in my truck. And when I am listening to tunes via A2DP, a few seconds after the screen times out the music shuts down until its unlocked, then resumes (I am using S2U2). Has anyone had any issues with this? Knows if this is windows power saving and if there is a registry edit or something to stop it? I have been searching endlessly and have had little success in finding any info.

The same thing happens to me on BT with A2DP, but I have worse problems just keeping the data connected and with it dropping calls. I returned it this afternoon and am in the process of resetting the device, I will let you know if it is still doing it tomorrow.
Guest doaner Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 OK, so on a thought I tried it with WMP. Guess what, no issues. Plays perfectly! So my guess is it's the samsung media player that is suspending its link with a2dp rather that windows shutting down its services. Is there anyway we can ditch this and make WMP the default again? I mean I already do as I use MS voice command and it never launches the TouchWiz apps.
