Guest flash2004 Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Just called today and demanded why I haven't received the phone yet ;) The lady said she was not sure why the order had still not been processed, but she assured me that she will do it immediately.... so finally getting my pulse on Friday. They are in stock now, so if you want it give them a ring before it goes out of stock again !! Edited December 9, 2009 by flash2004
Guest Firepyre Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 I had an email last night saying there was a problem with payment! Phoned them this morning and spoke to a good bloke who successfuly processed the card and despatched the phone - will be getting it tomorrow morning. ;)
Guest wimpydragon Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 What symbian device did you have as a matter of interest and how does it compare to the Pulse? I gave up on Windows Mobile when I couldn't get hold of a decent QWERTY device, so chose a Nokia E61. I liked it a lot despite its shortfalls. I then switched to a Nokia E71, which is almost a perfect phone. I've had that 14 months but a sequence of recent lockups and memory leaks caused me to sell it on and try out a cheap Android phone whilst I wait for my contract renewal period to roll round again. If Android works well for me I'll pick a "better" handset than the Pulse, but if not I'll switch back to Symbian and go for the E72.
Guest Jason Patel Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Orderd mine on Tue this week for £147 Including top up (gutted I missed the cheap offer). But phoned in yesterday lunch to get bumped up the queue, told out of stock. Tried this morning this time stating that a friend had ordered at the same time and had item despatched, the girl said they had a backlog of orders but they are in stock and proccessed it straight away. So get mine tommorow too ;) Already update my Gmail contacts to include phone numbers, have been playing the the SDK to get to grips with the UI. If you want to get the SDK (1.5 & 1.6) to work with Marketplace then follow the instructions here http://j.mp/6Js3Gw Cheers J

I reckon their systems just clogged up with the massive amount of orders they took in. Lady on the phone yesturday said demand was by far higher than any expectation. Guest racingclub Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 had a despatch email for my 2nd 'cheap' Pulse. seemed to be some confusion over my card details (dont know why, card is OK for everything else), but a quick call sorted it.
Guest lemmyc Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Yup, just phoned up now and they have pushed my order through so i'll get it on friday. Followed your lead. It should be arriving tomorrow apparently...
Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 The one I ordered in the online 33% off came.... has the camera problem with Shop Savvy. Need to return it - gutted [;)] Anyone else get theirs from the latest batch and have any problems with it?

Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Thanks for the link. Tempting to go with a custom rom but if some are working fine on the usual firmware and some aren't then theres obviously a hardware difference somewhere and best not to get stuck with one that may stop working with some other future update. Maybe we should have a poll!

Guest colincliff Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Took advantage of the dicounted price to get an android handet to experiment with (iphone user!). Also had to ring up to get my order put through. Guaranteed delivery tomorrow. The bonus is that they have no £10 top-up cards in stock so the phone only costs £91 delivered. This is fine since i was going to unlock anyway. Use the 'saving' to pay for the modaco discounted unlock. ;)

Mine didn't come with a £10 top-up card but my understanding is that the credit is automatically put onto your SIM within 48 hours of dispatch (although it sill hasn't appeared on mine and it was dispatched nearly 48 hours ago). Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 I had to call up and they added it (I'd already paid for it...). As it came it had no credit.

Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 150, but from my contract t-mob phone
Guest triplezoney Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 seemed to be some confusion over my card details (dont know why, card is OK for everything else), but a quick call sorted it. t-mobile didn't take my card over the net, called them & they still wouldn't accept it! Had to go into the shop in the end!! ;)
Guest Paul Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Mine arrived today! Although, having got a Liquid and a Milestone, not sure I can afford to keep it! ;) P
Guest le_lutin Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 150, but from my contract t-mob phone No joy using that number - they said it would be 25p a minute to speak to someone!
Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Thats the cost of calling T-Mobile customer services on PAYG
Guest le_lutin Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Thats the cost of calling T-Mobile customer services on PAYG Good grief. I'm actually getting rid of the sim card as soon as I get my unlock code, so I don't really want to top up in a shop so I can ring them to find out what happened to my £10 credit!
Guest Gisky Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Thats quite annoying isn't it! Do you have a landline? You could try 0845 412 5000

When i rang they hadn't taken any money. i was originaly charged £101, but when i spoke to them today and they took my details again they said i only had to pay £91 since they had no sims with credit on. I assume i will just get an empty t-mobile sim which i dont plan to use anyway.
