I still can't find a touch button that will work with the Verizon Omnia 2 i920, I've looked through the fourm and tryed the others, SSBubble levels and compass works no light, and a few others on here don't work. none will turn on the LED like Torch did on the omnia 1, anyone have one that works? How about Tell Me for the omnia 2, I also had it working on my 1 and it was a killer app as well

This might be an inadequate solution for you, but when I want to use my phone as a flashlight I just dial *#0*# and select Megacam. :D

What we need is a simple app just to activate the torch :D

You may want the latest version 2.1 rather than v2 above

FOUND HERE

The level works, the compass works, but the flash does not work on the omnia I920

interesting look like they may have changed the location in the registry.

Does the *#0*# option work?

I wrote this little application for i8000 that does just that (I posted it before, but I will do it again). You can assign it to the button or run from the shortcut. When you press the button it activates the phone flash led and after a preset time (or if you press the button again) it switches it off.

The value for timeout is stored in registry key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\torch\. The value of key TimeOut is in milliseconds so 3000 is equal to 3 seconds. It is using Samsung Windows Mobile SDK 2, so it only supports devices that are supported by this SDK. You can find more info about the SDK at http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/platfor...do?platformId=2

Cheers Wes forgot about your app, what we need is to see if this will work on the i920.

Hopefully Dmordarski can test this for you.

No, I doubt that you can do it because that's what the sleep mode is. Buttons are disabled and the screen is off.
