So i downloaded ICSInstall.cab and WMWifiRouter.cab so i can tether to my computer w/o usb on my i910. It works great. The first time I downloaded it after a day i notcied my wifi wouldnt turn on, so i went to settings, wireless manager, and saw that wifi wasnt even listed! Only bluetooth and phone. So I had to to a hard reset but i dont have outlook so i couldnt sync my contact. had to do it all by hand . After the hard reset I downloaded both the cab files again. I was able to connect and tether with no problem. The next day, no issue. Today however, the same problem has occured. I can still tether through usb which im doing right now. but my wifi is gone. i have to go to my parents house to sync my contacts and do it all over again. Any ideas? Thnx in advance. Click unload wait 3 or so seconds then click load and it should come back Also, go into power settings and toggle WiFi power saver mode or just turn it off if it is on Just 2 things to try short of a hard reset Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest -Mago- Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 I know of what problem you are talking about it happens to me all the time when ever I use wmwiferouter. but the only thing you need to do in order to get the wifi option back is.. this.. 1) open Wmwifirouter 2) options 3) Crash Cleanup 4) soft reset. and you should get back the wifi option..
