XPERIA panels on O2

tried this link, was glitchy, couldn't get the panel manager up it just stayed on the tile panel as homescreen no lag though.

theres also this out link doesnt seem to work for me.

it would be great if someone could get it to work on our omnia 2 or built into a rom

Got one panel working with Acer M900

yea thats the same one i got working, the other ones dont seem to and you cant access panel manager

I am on the stock rom,J9, however i tried installing SDK cert and the whole package from htc pedia. However when i click on the panel icon, nothing happens. May i know which cab are you saying which works? Thank You.

The same thing happened to me too. I used the HTCpedia.com link

I tried all cabs from xda, but dont worck for my. This is my ROM end the eror :

Dont worck becauze need to resign sam file.

Thanks for the reply. However after installing the SDKcerts.cab, the same problem persisted. I am wondering if it is because of the different hardware, i am currently using omnia 2. The tilepanel managed to be installed, but it didnt appear in my today op

if you are using it on omnia you have to resign with SDKCert ALL signed files

i just installed in the order it said on the HTCpedia site, in the order it tells you to, then installed the panels

yes. panel manager WONT open for me either. what i got was my today screen was the tile wave when i soft reset

i also installed on device, not my storage or card

hehe i couldn't even get the tile wave on my today screen. hmm i should try again, did you disable all the today plugins? Also when you install the myrid java cab, it does ask u to restart?

i disabled all the plugins, but i had SPB shell on at the time and it ran ontop of that. it really suprised me i had the tilewave and spb shell and neither of them lagged. yea java asked me to restart and i did before i continued with the others. i installed all the panels then soft reset and thats all. :S

did you install flash lite, normally it's maedatory for xperia panel

oh, i managed to get the tilewave showing, the day before i had put in the OpenGles dll file from Chainfire thread into my windows folder and then i tried to reinstall the files. There was no notification that i have components missing or permission. However the panel app still refuse to work. Hmm, the tile wave homescreen is pretty smooth but it does blackout halfway when i return from an app .

I also noted when the driver is used, my phone seems to be faster.

i tried this on my i8000L(english) and only could get the title wave panel to work. it was buggy though. i would get a error when trying to open the PM

Ooops, i forgot that you also have to change "panels" shortcut (windows/start menu) because it´s wrong too. Just go to /windows/start menu folder and edit "panels" shortcut (it tries to launch /Program files/Panelmanager/PMLauncher.exe) and change name of the folder for the real one (in my case /Archivos de programa/Panelmanager/PMLauncher.exe). By the way, i wasn´t able to modify the shortcut so i created a new one (right click on PMLauncher.exe) and overwrite the old (and wrong) one.

I think i´m not forgetting any more steps... :D

Yes, but dont start the panels. I have the same eror. I think we need to sing panels cab. Maybe Jermx can do this. ;)

It works, but not too well. Is not very fast. Need to change LoationCode and setings time with yours from registry key i think.
