Guest lgv91 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Your special GTX ROM is excellent. Good Job.
Guest X-pro Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 OCK... I have no words. You are an artist! I've been using your Roms for quite some time now, and I'm enjoing every time more... :) GTX is a "state of art" Rom. But I'd like to install the FlipClock (I like it). Is it possible? I don't wanna to mess up any thing in the Rom... P.S. The "Lock" Key in the left soft button was a great idea... see post 3434 in this tread
Guest corpisa Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Found that it routes through a server in usa to get web pages I would not advice to use passwords before you checked the company. Might be nothing and probably is but I'm a security freak so just thought I would mention :) thanks for the tip, saw some videos on youtube and I´m sticking with opera mini for now... ;) slds,
Guest aci666 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 i very like GTX Edition , it's so cool . thanks u very much. +1 :)
Guest jmsmartins Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 hi ock! this GTX rom is really a piece of art man, congrats :) one more reason to miss my i900, damn.. still at least 2 weaks to get it back from samsung ;)
Guest kaanHAN Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Dear OCK, you are the best of ever!!! GTX Edition is great. there is nothing to do better :) (by the way, humanbeing, there is always something to do - like a taskbar as gregory34's delightful WM 6.1 taskbar)(or something like the link at gfandrea's link at xda) Thank you for your all great effort.. best regards, Edited May 13, 2010 by kaanHAN
Guest Daniel Gava Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 see post 3434 in this tread Thanks... But the result is not so nice, because the black & white square under date, alarm and calendar is missing... is there a solution for this? :)
Guest bigfoune Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 hey ock .your premium rom are always excellent .. thank you for your great job :)
Guest Daniel Gava Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I've removed the M2D flipclock files. You can install a different M2D/taskbar/WM theme, no probs ;) The only thing that may be misaligned is the Action tab in M2D if you switch to a different theme. If you still prefer the old look, don't forget that the normal Premium version is also available :D =========== And thanks to everyone for all the encouraging words. I'll continue to keep a look out for new stuff to experiment with :) OCK, I've tried installing the flipclock from post 3434, and it worked just fine, but the Black&White square under date, alarm and schedulles is gone... There is some how to bring it back?

Guest melburnian Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Thanks fopr great roms How is the GPS functionality in GTX rom ? can somebody give a feedback about GPS signal response and DB powers of channels, I have problems with garmin like lag gps signals poor signal strengts and wrong place computing at previous roms Regards I actually found that the 23118 connects faster than the two previous ROM and the strength is about the same, maybe a little lower. @OCK, the way GTX is going, it may surpasses the downloads of your previous ROM!! hahahaaa Edited May 13, 2010 by melburnian
Guest hugo_prado Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Yes, with this build I'm able to use my cheap Bluetooth headset (even controlling Nitrogen via avrcp) :)
Guest Barry_Chanlo Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) i have a question regarding the clock, does the clock changes from an hour before then the actual time, i mean like the flipping clock but only digital (gtx edition)? how can i make the clock shows the right time only? Edited May 14, 2010 by Barry_Chanlo
Guest ock Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 hi ock found a bug in front camera in gtx version. It starts ok but when you press shoot it doesn't take a picture, you just hear the error sound. Do you have a fix for that ;) By the way very nice flash routine now, thanks. Haha it took me quite some time to figure this out too. It does save the picture in Program Files\XTKit.com\Omnia Front Camera\ can't figure if it's possible to change the save location. Advencedpcs link not good. Just tested, seems ok, maybe you can try again. Thanks for GTX rom I ve just installed it and found a bug: When using voice note to record, after 1 minute phone goes to sleep mode and recording stops, you can awake it by middle button and you must slide the keylock, after you can see the voice note recording screen but recording stopped. So this will prevent recording more than 1 minutr Regards you have checked that s2u2 isn't the one that turns the phone off after 60 sek :D Hmmm. you can try adding it to the exceptions list to prevent S2U2 from turning off the phone when recording. Hi Ock, Really great new ROM with Superb GTX similar style :( This build is somehow faster than older in my opinion. The only thing that I don´t like is that you coocked in S2U2 in the ROM :D I think you should use the GTX similar Lockscreen from Livven. Here the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=667915 Or can you tell me how I could disable S2U2? cheers Delete the iLock2.lnk shortcut from Windows\Startup to stop it from loading. Found that it routes through a server in usa to get web pages I would not advice to use passwords before you checked the company. Might be nothing and probably is but I'm a security freak so just thought I would mention Thanks for the feedback. Usually I don't use mobile web browsers for sensitive logins to be on the safe side. OCK... I have no words. You are an artist! I've been using your Roms for quite some time now, and I'm enjoing every time more... :( GTX is a "state of art" Rom. But I'd like to install the FlipClock (I like it). Is it possible? I don't wanna to mess up any thing in the Rom... P.S. The "Lock" Key in the left soft button was a great idea... Thanks... But the result is not so nice, because the black & white square under date, alarm and calendar is missing... is there a solution for this? :) Give me a moment, need to compare the differences, seems the flipclock replaces the background I used.. Hi OCK.. wonderful new ROM.. this new build is a truly LEGEND.. btw, I have a request. I have a condition that I need to do multitask, it means I have to run several programs in the same time. knowing that your ROM has autoclose feature that close program when you press "X" or "OK" button, it makes me cant do multitasking. so I want to make it just like default OMNIA ROM which minimize when press "X" instead of closing it. are there any CABs that can disable your autoclose feature?? please help me OCK.. your the best.. hehe To minimize applications, you can long press on the x button. Or install the attached to change the behaviour.Minimize_X.cab
Guest ock Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Any way to get nitrogen as a tab ? Don't think so :D hi ock! this GTX rom is really a piece of art man, congrats ;) one more reason to miss my i900, damn.. still at least 2 weaks to get it back from samsung :( Read that you got a new phone in the meantime? Didn't know the service centre would take so long... I actually found that the 23118 connects faster than the two previous ROM and the strength is about the same, maybe a little lower. @OCK, the way GTX is going, it may surpasses the downloads of your previous ROM!! hahahaaa :) i have a question regarding the clock, does the clock changes from an hour before then the actual time, i mean like the flipping clock but only digital (gtx edition)? how can i make the clock shows the right time only? This behaviour seems hard coded into the Manila.exe file, I'm not well-versed in editing exe files :(
Guest steven107 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 i can't update weather when i "tab to update weathere" . i try it so much , but "no weather data available"
Guest hugo_prado Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 i can't update weather when i "tab to update weathere" . i try it so much , but "no weather data available" If it occurs with clock weather, try to update weather tab first (with some city near you)
Guest corpisa Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Thanks... But the result is not so nice, because the black & white square under date, alarm and calendar is missing... is there a solution for this? :) yes and its pretty simple if you folllow rhe basics on my opinion when using an m2d rom ;) the first thing i do is back up default theme using m2dc so if you did just reload default theme and you are done. for some reason original clock always does that with calendar background. if you did not made theme back up just hard reset and you are done.. jeje I'm joking just ask for the file from someone and copy to windows then make your back up :D slds,
Guest melburnian Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 i can't update weather when i "tab to update weathere" . i try it so much , but "no weather data available" Steven, Not sure what is the problem. A couple of questions: 1. You have to set up your location for the weather tab. Can you find your city in the list? If you can you need to go to the Accuweather site and get the code for your city. 2. Is the mobile connecting to the Internet? I am assuming it is a newly flashed ROM. You may have to set the operator settings again.
Guest Pietervansittert Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 HI OCK, your ROM's is addictive, every time I thought now I have THE ROM, but every time you have some better stuff, thanks, I enjoy my Omnia it’s because of cooks like you, :) Kind regards,
