OCK's WM6.5 Roms (Premium, M2D, M2D Classic, Titanium, UltraLite)

with my current phone rom - i get moderate (3-4 bars) in most places i go.

sms's dont normally accumulate taht much - i delete them/flash to a new rom before it gets near 200 normally.

Im using the alphaUI build atm - and like it - i guess we shall see what the new build will bring.

my biggest annoyance is that i cannot go away for the weekend and have my phone on standby (like next to no usage) and have it die over the weekend.

I can put up with not using it if it means i can ring someone in an emergency etc - but if its dead its not much help....

I have found a rom that contains my original rom (phone) - now looking for an actual link for either og the 2 roms (phone) you mentioned

Im using Windows 7 - so will be flashing via grandprix - so looking for a bin file if you happen to have a link handy......

ehm looks like I'm getting confused now...

in my phone it says:

version PDA: i900DXID1 and PHONE: i900XXHI4.

I guess i900DXID1 is the ROM build version that I have running at this moment? (OCK's alpha UI)

and i900XXHI4 is my phonepart right?

Your pda is the rom that ock builds and he is releasing shortly. If you don't have any problems with your phonepart, don't upgrade. There's always a risk that something could go wrong when flashing.

In very short terms

PDA is what you see on your phone

Phonepart is what controls the hardware in the phone

OCK,

S2U2 can stay on and clock the clock even after it has been dock or charging. But it is not set up as part of the default setup, therefore you have to go into the settings and turn on the feature.

no.. end call button doesn't work which is why i had to take out the battery T_T

felt like crying, cos i think it's like damaging my phone.

anyhow, do u know what's wrong with it?

I'm not too sure what could be the problem, I suppose sometimes messaging in WM6.5 is problematic as the firmware wasn't really upgraded to WM6.5.

Try the skin.xml attached, which has the weather and agenda removed.

Hi OCK, i've been using your ROM 23118 Premium, and i've tried to install an Android theme for the Taskbar, but every time it only change the top little icons, but not the big ones, do you know what do i need to make it work?

Yonn's new GTX ROM has one of this taskbar.

I've not managed to find out where the big icons are found at :( Perhaps you can drop a note to Yonn to see which cab he's used?

I'm using GTX Edition. Last night my phone was ok. But this morning, it has no signal at all. When I try to make call, it said that "Cannot complete call. The signal may be unavailable or the phone number may not be valid. Verify the number or try again."

anyone else have a problem with the FM Radio. I'm using the earplug, but I'm not recieving anything when I scan ??

Are you using the bundled earpiece? Reception may vary too when you're indoors.

Hi,

I'm experiencing some issues when hanging up on a phone call using this ROM. Looks like right after hanging up, WM becomes very slow for several minutes (no issue while still in the call). If I start a new call, then I get it to work normally, but it becomes very slow again when hanging up. I experienced that most particularly when using TomTom navigator and making/receiving phone calls at the same time (Tomtom is completely hanging for several minutes, quite annoying)!

The strange thing is that I also experienced the same issue using my previous ROM (Khuanchai's). I thought it was gone right after installing this new ROM as I didn't noticed that anymore during the first few days after installing, but it's now back... I guess it's probably linked to some cleanup which is not correctly done.

Any idea what this could be linked to ?

I can't think of a good explanation apart from free memory, you can try closing unused programs using Showcase so that Tomtom can run more smoothly.

Seems that the registry change didn't stick. Try installing the attached cab.

I installed the cab, but after switching the phone off and on again the contacts are back again. So this cab does exactly the same as the option in "Favorite Hackings" tools that is in the ROM.

It seems it doesn't remember the setting. Can you just try the following and let me know the results?

1. Change your clock to 1 hr ahead

2. Re-install the cab I previously provided

3. Soft reset

4. Let me know if the clock is still 1hr ahead

5. Check if your SIM contacts still appear.

6. Remember to set the time back :P

How do you remove all the default keyboards and have only one keyboard ooption? I bought swype and would like that to be the only one that comes up even after soft reset?

Yes but I try again, SIP seems to give me an error on start up alot so I dont likeusing it....

Hey just as a side note, the all in one M2d is great, home weather seems to not update location. but after installing the home weather fix with mortscript found on here it updates. but as said b4 it dont update location.

Hello all i need help, i just noticed that my omnia wont accept call (Incoming Call). but i can receive /send text message and call people (Outgoing call)

i already try hard reset and checking my call barring and it's isn't the problem

Does anyone has similiar problem? Or have tips on fixing it? I just recently upgrade my PHONE.part could it be related to that?

Pretty odd issue, sounds serious, perhaps you can try flashing back to your previous Phone part?

OCK it's great rom but I have broblem with dialer it's white and Iuse the fix dialer steal the broblem !!! what can Ido?

thanks but looks like this radio doesn't allow 3G, which I use quite a lot... My phone version is currenly i900LJIIA, are there known issues with this one or is there another version you could recommand (one which includes 3G, and ideally, I'm looking for good battery life as I'm an intensive users with 3 mailboxes checked every 15 minutes) :-)

shouldn't those version numbers be the other way around?

These are correct :( I'm using DXID PDA.
