I've been following the discussions here on Modaco, and have been reading up various sources on how to cook up a custom rom. After gathering some of the wisdom and knowledge from other helpful rom chefs, I'm happy to present my roms for the i900 Omnia.Please take the time to read my second post, where you can find solutions to common problems you may encounter, such as problems with NoData, M2D Home Weather, Wifi etc.

Presenting... TitaniumSense (beta) with gchris's skin :D . Thanks to gchris for his permission to allow me to cook this in. Do read his first post first on how to configure weather, apps etc. Note that Opera, Nitrogen etc in my screenshots below are not included B)

Do note that landscape mode is not supported for the Today screen. I've tested this for half a day, hope the sleep problem is gone. As for some issues with video recording, if you notice that it starts recording in slow-mo, do a soft reset, which fixes this problem.

Here's a cab I've put together if you want to install it on other builds. Full credits to gchris for his excellent work.

Try going to settings-personal-phone, than More - Band selection - Get settings. Change the frequency band to automatic.

It's already in automatic. Sorry.

+1 also not working with me and also when the phone try to connect with GPRS i can`t make any call and appear it field to make a call because there is no signal .

please advice the build is too fast and and run smoothly in phone except the GPRS Connection.

BTW ock when you cook omnialite app to your ROM is those fugly WM default (clock, calender, etc) overwritten or make a new shortcut like normal install? and which build include omnialite app?

EDIT: can i make it so those Lite App set as default?

how about increasing pagepool to increase performance of the rom

Q: What is pagepool?

A: Page pool is an area of RAM which is set aside to hold the next block of code the processor is likely to need to execute. It prefetches this from ROM as it executes the program. If the next step of the program needs something that's not in the page pool, the processor goes to the ROM to get it. ROM access is slower than RAM access. So generally, as you increase the page pool size, the chances of the required code being in the page pool increases and speed increases. There is a limit beyond which you won't see any increase in performance.

Ock! your rom 28218 is very fust! But I live in Russia and i want russian opera and nitrogen. can you make 28218 but without english content - opera, nitrogen and smartconverter? I think, everybody can install this programms. And with omnia light volum control.

I cannot install Omnia's keyboard cab. It says that It doesn't have system permission. I did install sdkCerts.cab but no god, I also tried soft-reset and same story. Could You check this?

Damn. I was happy to early :D.

1. Internet doesn't work(3g, wap, gprs). I tried creating all the connections manually, same result.

2. There are some errors with the installed apps(for example MemMaid 2.30 doesn't have the "options"button, so i can't register the application). As you can see lower, the "Tools" button should've been the "Options" button.

3. I use spb keyboard, but i can't acces the options menu and it's freezing the phone.

4. The "exit"or the "ok" button is missing in some situations. It's quite random, so i can't give an exact situation.

I think i will rollback to 28223 UL.

L.L.E. 28223 UL has the same issues. I guess 21889 UL is the most stable. Damn. I was so eager to get this new version.

Anyway, enjoy the new year :D.

Build 28218 works fine for me, despite I am using titaniumsense (installed the cab OCK has provided in the 1st post) instead of the default M2Dv2 in the ROM. Pretty impressive with this Rom. Well done, OCK.

No problem detected so far... tho' have been using for about a day only. hehe.
