Guest Pickiki Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 OCK, Just downloading 23541...will give it a try! few issues i found in the last 218XX version: 1) in the phonebook (touch phonebook) application , can't add picture to a current or new contact. If you are going to standard contacts app, everything workes fine. BTW would love to get my hands on this app and the Calander app as standalone application. 2) in the WIFI IP settings , you can't add 3 numbers as xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx , only 2 (xx.xx.xx.xx) . 3) the camera button is still not working after the 2004fix.cab

Guest jms2367 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) Can you upload the phcanOverbmp.dll file? hi sir. can you kindly sir re edit your post. it very difficult to read the thread if you are replying to the first page (specially if you are reading from a mobile device). no offense meant. it just quoting the first page affects readability of the thread. cheers. :( Edited March 1, 2010 by jms2367

Guest sudkcoce Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) Hi Ock! First of all, thank you for this AMAZING rom, I am using 22004 Premium! Summary: You are a GREAT cook and it's apparent you take time to make roms as perfect as it gets. I just LOVE the application selection you put in, the consistency of touch friendly stuff (and winmo builds) are beyond what I have used so far. I have been stuck with builds 21xxx with SPB shell so far, and have missed M2D a lot. Now this has changed and I LOVE the interface!! I will stick with M2D roms from now on, so please disregard people that keep bothering you for ultralite roms. There are plenty of those available... I think what makes a great cook is the "whole package". Not just the different rom build. And you just SHINE in that regard. Things I like in 22004 Premium: 1) Wonderful GUI (great theme, possible to turn off the m2d and use Titanium if one desires, beautiful icons, ....) 2) Application selection is awesome!! (MySoftReset, Dial-up EnablerDisabler instead of NoData, Nitrogen and skin, Touch Calendar, Showcase as task switcher....) 3) The clock AND battery status are always visible (GREAT!!!!) 4) Memory management seems really great (I don't need to run MemMaid RAM clean and such!) NOTE: I am also using "AutoClosePatch-1.1.cab" that makes multitasking a dream - maybe you should include it in your roms! 5) How easy you make it on your home page to choose the right rom! One can see you take time and you are very organized! 6) The idea of a "PREMIUM" rom, which makes us know what YOU are using is my wish come true (I asked in some thread for chefs to provide a "chef's choice" rom and you are the first to do it. Kudos for that!! 7) My iGO (GPS) now works better than ever! 8) I need so few extra applications, so I don't need to waste time installing them! :( 9) Stability: GREAT! At first I was very skeptical regarding the 22004 build, since I never heard of it, but the "PREMIUM" tag kind of made me go for it. I am not sorry!! :( But, there's always place for improvement... :( What I don't like in 22004 Premium: 1) Most important: SMS-ing is VERY slow. It takes about 6-8 seconds to reply to SMS. If you could fix that, it would be really really great! 2) The "All Programs" screen in M2D uses only two thirds of the display (bug?) 3) All the M2D roms have this, but it would be great if you disable it: On home screen, if you touch the big clock, it takes you to time settings. I do that many times unintentionally, and its easy to change time/alarms by accident if you know what i mean... 4) Windows like to kill running applications when memory usage exceeds about 60%. Easily solvable with AutoClosePatch mentioned above at number 4). But, anyway, as far as I am concerned, from now on I will stick with your roms, they are a dream to use and pleeeease keep doing the M2D versions. Many (votes show that this is the majority) people here prefer M2D to anything else currently available. Let the other cooks bother with ultra light roms. Thanks again OCK and keep up the great work!!! Edited March 1, 2010 by sudkcoce
Guest PayAndCry Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Hi, Ock I can´t run NoData on your UL 23541 ROM it always gives me an error. Btw are you still working on you M2D theme?

Not sure if it's a theme issue, or a issue with M2D itself :( Hi, Ock I can´t run NoData on your UL 23541 ROM it always gives me an error. Btw are you still working on you M2D theme? Do you have any connections set up? If you don't it will generate an error. the developer dosn't allow AutoClosePatch to be included in roms, just to let you now ock Yup, I was considering cooking it in 23541 but read the specific note from the developer. Btw, I've installed it for quite a while now and it does stop autoclosing. You may get an out-of-memory dialog though, but I can run more programs at a time :( And thanks to all who helped with the replies to some of our friends' questions. :(
