Hey,

Just flashed your M2D ROM and I must say it looks fantastic.

Is there a way of disabling showcase? (I think showcase is ok, but have come to love the ArkSwitch task manager, as it shows memory usage and is brought up with a quick click on the top bar instead of a 3second one in the bottom left)

lol, days? <_<). i flash my omnia in 3 minutes and in about 30 minutes i install all the apps i need :mellow: and believe me they are many. Just keep your favorite apps in your pc :(. I'm using these apps :

Spb mobile shell - no need to tell you what this is

Spb full keyboard

Spb Weather

Pocket music - for music playback

Core player - for video playback

Sms chat - the name speaks for itself

Nimbuzz - all around messenger - supports msn, yahoo, skype etc

Skype mobile

Resco Explorer - better file explorer than default

RarLab Pocket rar

JBLEND

AdobeFlashlight 3.1

Phm Registry Edit - for litle tweaks

Resco Photo Viewer - beste photo viewer in my opinion. not havin problem with landscape hd pictures

And not to mention ALOT of games (asphalt4, NFSUC, Age of Empires, Avale Ocean of Time and many more)

All of these take me about 30-40 minutes to install.

The bottom line :

I love the ultralite versions, because it gives you the possibility to customize your omnia and keep it's memory free.

With all these apps installed i have 138 mb rom and 62 mb ram free at all the time and my omnia rocks :D.

i load also a lot of apps after flash. it never took me days to install. it may take me more than two hours to set up and customize everything (registry tweaks, themes, apps settings, etc) but not days. reading the forum turns out to be quite entertaining though. :D

OCk, if you keep pressing the rlToday screen for a few seconds you'll get to the options and there's a tab where you can apparently add apps like wmp and office,etc. but idk how to

Hmmm.. it's part of rlToday but not part of the skin. Just a note though, you may have trouble exiting options as it is designed for older UI. So I recommend that you don't go inside options. Reload skin works fine though <_<

What kind of pre-installed applications are missing by the new MD2 version in compare with the old 23541 build premium?

Yes, you can. Go to Windows\startup and run showcasesuite. There should be a notification that it has been disabled. Delete the shortcut to stop it running the next time you reset.

get a new java or Jblend. As far as i know, ock removed the java and the old jblend he was using was bugged. Install jblend and it will solve your problem <_<. Good luck

I flashed your latest Titanium ROM (march 5th's), and found a few bugs that I think that weren't reported (At least I couldn't find it reading back the thread):

- When I try to fwd/reply a SMS, the "tmail.exe" app seems to freeze and I have to kill it. Sometimes I have to take off the battery and turn it back on.

- When receiving a call with my mobile unlocked, the line above the caller's name and picture is all black, although the caller notification "window" is white.

If you find helpful, I can install a screen capture app and try to provide some screenshots.

1) Try pressing the end call button if it hangs. I encounter this when loading messages stored on SIM cards, but when copied to the phone, this problem is not present.

2) Yup, it's a known issue with Samsung Dialer, which is tricky to fix. As far as I know, no solution exists for this yet. If you find one, let me know <_<

But when my phone rings, the hardware 'answer' button doesn't answer the call but the 'end' button works.

But so is a way of thinking a most of polish people: only to demand profits, but never say: You are great, thanks for all and good luck!

pafel9, there is no need to be so hard on that guy, it´s his first post an I thought he was not rude when he ask his petition. Just by asking doesn't mean Ock is going to cook a polish version.

I think is better to ignore these kinds of comments if you don´t agree with them than to start insulting people right away because probably the reaction of that guy to your answer is not going to be polite so before we start a fight that will take to nowhere just everyone relax and take into consideration that this is an English forum but many of us are not native speakers so is easy to misinterpret someone.

Flashing roms is a hobbie and the time we spend on this forums should be about having fun and learning from everyone new things everyday, so lets keep everyone in a good mood <_<

I assume it's locked when it rings? Actually I've not use the hardware button cos I use S2U2 most of the time.

I've in fact replied to magik-thc via PM, and recommended Ryzry's or Bruno Alder's roms. Unfortunately I don't have time to cook more builds. (and I may not understand what I'm cooking :mellow: )

Very nice rom, One of the best I downloaded so far. I see that you mentioned that you added threaded SMS to the latest version. Witch one can I download that does not have the threaded SMS?

Something that I noticed is that Chome editor boms out when I try to add new Pages. It just exits the program.
