It's not an app, but a feature of later versions of WinMo with the start button below. <_<

Arkswitch may be a good alternative to HTC manager.

Im currently using arkswitch (as mentioned earlier) it's nice, the only problem I've had so far is that it has been closing on me a couple of times, no idea what causes it, but suddenly when I press the activation-field I only get the windows horizontal popup thingie... Have had no problem with just relaunching it thou, and as it puts a shortcut in startmenu/tools that's not that big of a problem...

I'm swedish and sure, a swedish ROM is nice some times, but imo more people can use the ROM if it is in english and that means more "testers". Plus even with ock's ROMs and every other release that I've tried that still has samsung keyboard, you get the swedish xt9, that's enough for me (+ the regional settings for the clock etc ofc.). ...but i cant surf the net

my wifi router is working properly because my 5800 can connect to it properly

Guys, I have found out one thing, thought I would share.

Whenever I had Wi-Fi turned on and the phone went into stand-by mode (by pressing the on/off key or automatically), the phone became very slow and sluggish when woken up...

So I have turned off "Settings->System->Power->Wi-Fi->Enable Wi-Fi power saving mode".

Now the phone behaves fast even with Wi-Fi ON. <_< I guess it slows the phone considerably trying to reconnect to wi-fi...

Lupus. UltraLite roms are for guys that know exactly what they need and how to fix things. If you are not up to it, get a "Full" rom from the cook. And if then something doesn't work, report. As long as you have problems with your phone because you have tweaked it, you should refrain from posting in this thread.

My advice is Ock's 22004 Premium. I have it for about 3 weeks now and am VERY happy with it. Everything works out of the box, you have all the necessary programs included (also the WOW stuff) and the rom is very stable.

The only stuff I have installed is:

p h o n e x (which i still find indispensable), swype, resco photo manager, opera mini and mobile, resco file explorer s2u2 and iGo.

Hi Ock, I have one request, could you please post the cab for _your_ Nitrogen player (the nicely skinned one), please! I decided to test your newest m2d rom (can not resist trying your new stuff, even though the 22004 Premium was really great), but it's not included (I think it should be in all of your roms, since it's just GREAT!)...

I didn't say I'm a "vet" WinMo user, but... I really DON'T need the 80-90% of the apps, in non-UltraLite roms!!!!! That's why I don't want "full" roms!... That's why I TRIED to contact with a couple of "cookers" to "cook" one PERSONAL ROM for me, but unfortunatelly... both of them bought OTHER phone model and they're not "cooking" anymore for i900s...

(I also contacted with 1-2 new "cookers" but they don't seems to want the idea of "personal cooking" for me...)

By the way, I've tried many UltraLite roms... Been "UltraLite", doesn't mean it has PROBLEMS in necessary issues, like audio, does it?

Anyway... You DIDN'T answer my question. I'm REALLY need an audio solution, please.

sod is what you described and many of the builds cooks use to make the rom's is affected. I know many use a backup program but remember that those backups programs are written for officials roms and not for customs rom's so the backup file may not be as expected. I don't use backup programs so can't really say if that is your problem. Try to hard reset and use your backup file again and see if the problem remains

OK, I found the problem: It has been caused by a program. I used to install zenyee stay unlock program to keep the device from demanding the pin on every startup. Due to active sync / exchange server this pin thing is required to synchronize with exchange server. I would like to keep my device unlocked. So what I did was uninstall the 'stay unlock' program and delete the exchange account in active sync. Now the system runs quite fast and there is no sleeping beauty problem anymore !

Fortunately the rom upgrade function in spb backup works quite well so I didn't have to set up the whole device again.

Some feedback from 23637 M2D...

Install Process - Ok - That issue (rebooting continuously until I take the chip out) with my mobile operator (TIM Brasil) remains, but that is not a big issue since I could hard reset without the chip, and then use ADC to configure the Phone Operator

Performance - Really Fast and stable Rom - No Issues

GPS - Quicker fix than previous versions! (nice!) + I have changed some values in the registry (ex. buffer...) as I found it in a specific thread about "how to improve GPS quick fix" - Now (finally) Satellites get "fixed" in seconds (not in minutes as it used to be, in other builds))

Active Sync - Something has changed in this version and I have to figure how to solve it. I could identify some tips and tricks in some posts above, but I have to figure how to eliminate that "exchange server" userid and password screen that is coming everytime I am trying to sync

Conclusion:

I appreciate that you took my previous feedback in consideration and cooked this 23637 M2D. Honestly, from now on I have set my new "standards and requirements" really high for testing a new ROM (your fault <_< ). It means that something like 236xx + really good visuals + apps will be mandatory to make me think about testing another one. :mellow:

Unfortunatelly... that's not accurate, dear friend.

In the UltraLite rom of your I've "flashed" (UL build 21889), the SRSWOW doesn't exists... and THERE IS a sound/audio issue, when you trying to play/listen MP3s (not ringtones). There is a strange "noice" while you listening a MP3, mate.

Any solution, please?
