OCK's WM6.5 Roms (Premium, M2D, M2D Classic, Titanium, UltraLite)

Thinking to use your ROM update but I have one question.

Currently, I am using build 28230 which I assume is WM 6.5.3

Your latest build is 23545.

My question is: is this an older WM version?

And what are the differences between 23545 and 28230?

Well... I always had the very same question (I was asking about that, Sector & Shokka9). It's quite odd, working in a "newest" build and then, "returning back" to a previous one...

I would like to read about that, from our "cooker".

Issue with audio problem solved (edited with apps)...

Issue with "stylus tick" sound (loud) solved, I found the file's name: userbt1.wav (or something like that)...

By the way OCK (or rest of you people), the new build's graphics are those with the LARGE buttons, the LARGE menus & the LARGE scrolling bars? I'm asking, because these builds (with the larger graphics - for more finger-friendly feature) don't working properly with my phone.

If not, I'll like to give a try to the newest - if yes, I'm staying with the older build.

I am mostly interested in how much faster / responsive (if any) it is, compared to the m2d v2.

If it's the same I don't see much point in it, on the other hand, if it's more responsive, I'll just have to reflash! :(

One more thing for Ock:

I know you use s2u2, I do too, but ever since I started using your roms, after wake up from a bit longer standby (say you turn the phone off with the power button and wait about 20 sec), and then wake it by front buttons, it gets very laggy and I have to swype/slide a couple of times to unlock. And that becomes VERY annoying, since this is one of the GUI elements that is most used on a (s2u2 enabled) phone.

If you (or anyone else here) do not have this problem, could you share the most important s2u2 settings here?

To me, v.2 M2D just has better/good looking graphics... The "classic" M2D is alike stable, I think (at least, the one that KC & Sector used to "cook-in" their roms).

About the S2U2 part of your question, gimme a half day (I'm going to disable the WM6.5 LockScreen and install S2U2 - I know it prety much) and I'll share you my settings - nothing special, the usual stuff.

OCK... your new glossy icons (to install ourselves) are amazing, bravo! You really need to do something with the... "sellect-glow" .png - that thing, indicates what icon you pressed. This "glow" (I think, the WM6.5 default .png graphic) is quite... terrible! Do you like to make something to you and send you back? You gave me a couple of .png files (including that... "glow") and I made a couple of mine. Do you like to send them?

(Also... is it simple, just to copy-paste that new .png in the Windows directory and CHANGE that "glow"... or I need something extra editing???)

Just moved from 22004 Premium to your new 23545 Premium release.

Just a quick query...

The SMS threading is still the 22004 version?

ie. plain grey n black display? Also when selecting SMS to Move to folders, there is no visual feedback that they are selected.

The older 23518 release if not mistaken had a very much nicer SMS interface.

Din have the above issues.

Is it possible for us to install a cab to replace the SMS executable?

If so, able to provide the 23518 version?

+1 here both fore 637 and 545. think it's the new builds that s2u2 needs to look into. If it's not that ez keyboard that is ghosting around <_<

I do not have a problem selecting backgrounds in S2U2... Weird.

There's just the peculiarity: when you select the wallpaper and it shows in full screen, you have to click on the upper side of the screen to show the menu for wallpaper selection.

Some issues with 23545:

- Camera button does not work IN camera mode

- youtube does not start -> error

- links within emails opens internet explorer instead of opera

- after some hours of use display does not turn off

Hi, the problem is that when i choose "Backgrund" in main settings it goes to S2U2 folder and freezes. If i try to change manually i registry to another folder it is the same result.
