I wanted to use it but ended up not using it...it's part of samsung's widget settings>display settings>Lock Screen> Owner Info

If you put info in there and then turn off your screen and then turn it back on your info shows and so does the fugly myinfo.192.gif file located in the windows directory. I tried to replace it and NO GO, I tried to delete it from the phone and then replace it but I am not allowed to delete it?

Is there a way to do this, I've read the gif can be removed on the original omnia but the text remains. You cannot remove anything on i920 as far as I have figured out...

I really want a lock/password screen with background image and ability to include text info such as phone owner & # info...but something I like not the fugly rainbow crap... ;) default black would have been fine

ANY IDEAS?

Are you using the windows default file explorer or Samsung file explorer? If yes, they have limited permission to modify the windows folder. You would have to use file explorer such as Resco File Explorer 2008, it would then permit you to modify your windows contents.
